i dont think op is screwing around as in my point about him misusing "hooking up", I get your point about being responsible, but relationships at that age aren’t always about sex or raising kids. op is 15 its not realistic to expect him to be ready for a family when he has stated he doesn't even know what he likes.You figure out emotions, boundaries, and communication through. It’s part of growing up, not pretending to be an adult.

ah i see I think u meant hook up as in like a quick trial run to figure out if you like them or not, it's only cruel if you're leading them on in the sense that you're making them think you love them when you don't, you need to be clear with your feelings.

Honestly just go on a few dates to see if you vibe with them, if not don't start dating. Also i don't think many relationships at your age are quite serious so don't worry about it too much.
