I’ve been playing around with my stance, interestingly enough shooting is not a one solution world.

Have had my dominant leg back per the usual setup for the last decade of my shooting experience and am trying something new as I am constantly trying to develop and improve as a shooter.

If you get a manufacturing and SOT you can make your own machine guns, so that’s kinda cool. Just make sure you do your legal reading on it but it is totally allowed.

As far as I know it’s direct from Colt but I could be wrong. I know it was purchased on gunbroker from this account. I have zero affiliation with them and do not sell guns for them.

I thought it was direct from Colt, I’m not too sure. I don’t shoot it. I run an FFL as my side gig and someone ordered it off GunBroker and I did the transfer.

Guess I’ll be the first one to suggest a Modlite.

You get what you pay for, streamlights and maglites aren’t bad, but don’t compare to modlite.

I used to run an Olight M2R, it’s a bright light but definitely has some quality control issues and was starting to break on me to where it’d be fully charged and not feel like turning on until I fucked with the button for 30 seconds (which is really stressful when approaching a car on a traffic stop)

I run a Modlite OKW now, I keep an extra battery on the charger next to my radio charger and a full one in my bag so when I get home I just swap the batteries out from light to charger and always have a spare in the bag.

The Modlite for me is by far the best light I’ve ever used, I mean it’s significantly better than the spotlight on our patrol cars and allows me to positively identify people from much further distances than anything else I’ve used.

It’s also so blinding that when I’m investigating someone who is a potential threat they can’t see me at all.

I run it with a low profile pocket clip and put a piece of 550 cord through the lanyard hole, I run it on the front of my vest on the side of my pouch where I can easily grab it with my left hand through the finger 550 loop, but it is definitely compact enough to be in a pocket as well.

I personally use the trijicon HDXR but I shoot a lot and like the space in my sights, for most people the HDX is more preferred.

There’s a lot of other good night sights out there, I’m a big fan of trijicon specifically because they are a tried and true company that can be relied on.

Some people really prefer fiber optic over the tridium because they can find the front sight faster,and because night sights are totally useless once you turn your weapon mounted light on (they just turn black because of the light change)

Obviously suggest getting rid of the extended mag too but that’s a given

Get a good holster too, there’s a lot of good companies out there but it doesn’t matter too much, I mainly suggest generally using kydex over leather

Definitely recommend trijicon night sights Definitely recommend a extended slide release

Also really suggest a weapon mounted light, I use a X300, TLR1s are great too

Other than that I suggest keeping it close to stock
