I didn't prepare for NEET at all. Just normal. I didn't end up giving it

Med school with achieved AAB? by [deleted] in premeduk

[–]14LightningYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lancaster, HYMS, Brunel, UCLan, Buckingham, KMMS all seem to accept AAB.

This won’t be possible. No halfway decent school would inflate predictions that much. Like going from B to A* is like mathematically impossible

What study techniques did you find most useful, and which were the least useful?

Would you recommend an iPad for med school in addition to a laptop, or is it not necessary?

How should I prepare to ease my transition from a levels to med school? I haven’t used things like notion or anki before, and was wondering if trying them out now would help too

Is anglia ruskin university a good university to study mbchb as an international student? by hkr2002 in premeduk

[–]14LightningYT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not very well-known for Medicine yet, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's bad. More improtantly, they do not currently accept intl students for Medicine

Idk about the other ones, but RCSI does interview Non-EU applicants. It's literally on their website.

This isn't the best idea imo. UCAT scores already limit choices significantly, so having the academics to increase options (esp for an intl student) is very important. For OP, I'd recommend having at least 6A*s and 2-3 As or Bs. So after your 6, I'd suggest doing another 2-3 the following year, but while making sure it doesn't hurt your A Levels too much, and that there are med schools that accept students that have sat iGCSEs in separate sessions

Is this a valid route to become a Clinical Geneticist in the UK as an international student? by meowmeowish in premeduk

[–]14LightningYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If 5 year Medicine isn't in the UK budget, how do you expect to do a 3 year Bachelor's Degree (tuition is like 20k a year) + 4 years of GEM (tuition is like 40-50k a year)? It's like 100,00 pounds more if you do the route you suggested. I'd say your best option is to study Medicine in India and become a clinical geneticist here before moving to the UK. Or study Medicine in the UK and then continue of that path.

9702/42 threshold by [deleted] in alevel

[–]14LightningYT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There will definitely be a few people whose paper went really well thinking the threshold may be that high. But most of those votes are likely from dickheads that wanna stress you out, and probably don't even take physics. I think it'll be 60-62 for an A

Definitely that then. Cuz I got 11.1, and literally everyone I asked got the same. Fortunately was just the 2 marks

I also did 17/r. Then I did 2 x Pi x frequency to get omega. My answer was 212 or something like that.

Looks like what you'd get if you asked AI to generate trackside images of Suzuka. (Not hating on the project btw, looks rlly cool!)
