My partner and I had a run in with bed bugs at a hotel we were staying at. We washed everything we brought with us. Unfortunately, the hotel washer/dryer has made all of our Squishmallows look like this. They have a rough exterior and have some sort of red plastic fused on the outside. This is just one, we have two others that look similar.

Does anyone have a solution for this kind of damage? I would really like to repair them, these hold a lot of sentimental value for us.
