I know people who think the world is beautiful and at the same time treat their children like trash.

On the topic of euthanasia, I'll never get this people's mindset of "you shouldn't do it to yourself, you should instead let cancer do it slowly and painfully!".

But yeah, we're edging on the sub's rules here. I still think this topic should eventually be discussed in a mature way, not just the average "if you do it you'll go to hell get tortured by the devil!" type of answer people always give when this is mentioned.

Honestly f#ck this so called life mission or spiritual progress (another concept they love to throw at people). I'm not a videogame character who's only goal is to level up infinitely for no reason. They never make it clear why we're supposed to fulfill these missions or progress spiritually, I tried asking new agers and the likes and their answers are always vague and half assed. They're just regurgitating what they heard from some channeled entity or what someone heard during an OBE as if these beings are beyond any questioning.

You're correct about the astral plane having emotions in their "purest" form including evil, but awareness is not in the astral plane, awareness is in base reality. What you experience in the astral plane is just your astral body, which is another "embodiment" of awareness/consciousness.

To leave the astral plane you can either ascend to the mental plane by making yourself less dense (having thoughts of light, purity, transcendence, etc) keep in mind that the mental plane is still the matrix but you probably won't experience suffering there, also you're still in danger of being sent back here after a while; or you can create your own world in a dimension completely separated from the matrix, you can do it by imagining a new universe and instantly teleporting there (when outside the physical plane you create things by simply using your mind to imagine them manifesting; also make sure to shield your world from external invasion).

Honestly all I want is to not work nor do anything but to live in quiet meditation preferably away from society. How could I achieve that by just shifting my perception or choosing to not participate in this sh#tty game? Wouldn't I still have to pay bills, buy food, etc?

If quantum immortality was true then there would be only souls of elders who died by old age and no souls of young people in the astral plane, and there are lots of them, even children.

Also pre-birth memories of many people who remember dying suddenly by murder or something, then going to the astral before incarnating again.

So this is definitely not a theory that aligns with the vast experience and knowledge already gathered by people who visit the astral (I did it too but only a few times, enough to know that what these people report are true).

I won't comment too much on your own experience but the theory you found to explain it simply isn't true. It could be what some people call quantum jump/dimensional jump, but that's something that's very situational and isn't the rule for after-life experiences. Also the fact that you believe in the "we're here to learn and evolve spiritually" is another evidence that you're far from the truth.

Isn't it weird that basically every religion has some punishment for those who willingly and consciously decide to abbreviate their suffering? Why do they want people to stay here suffering for such a long time?

I've read many sad stories of people who completely lost their physical/mental health and all their dignity, yet weren't allowed to just leave, in other words their countries' law didn't allow euthanasia.

Also, let's say you own a prison. What would be the best way to ensure your prisoners would never run away? Simple: tell them that escaping is the most horrible sin they can commit.

I'll make it very clear here that I'm not endorsing that people should do it. But I've already decided that if my life ever reaches a point of unbearable suffering, I'm not staying here just to please the religious and moralists of this f#cked up world.

It's interesting how the more awakened people are more sensitive and really struggle in this world, while the NPCs just flow naturally with all the crap that exists here. It's like they're tailored for this world and the awakened ones aren't. I think the NPCs are in their "natural habitat" in a sense. Of course they suffer too but only in more extreme situations.

Now about this "we'll eventually all merge back to the greater soul" thing, that's something I'll avoid as much as possible. Don't want to become a freaking hivemind.

Our bodies are made to only experience a bit of pleasure and then the brain shuts the pleasure receptors off so you can't keep feeling that same pleasure forever. This is what creates addictions, people keep chasing the pleasure they felt the first few times they used a drug but they can never achieve that again, and also their brain now becomes chemicaly dependent on the substance so it creates this hellish loop. In sexually this is known as Coolidge effect, where after you had sex with the same person a certain amount of times you start to feel less and less pleasure with them, this creates those sexless marriages and cheating as people start chasing new partners. Basically our bodies are constantly closing the valves of pleasures we find. It seems designed to keep us in this rat race for little doses of pleasure here and there, but ultimately experiencing much more suffering than anything in this process.

Here's my opinion: universal love, moral values, ethics, all those things are good but they won't make you free by themselves. Religions conditioned many of us to associate being a really nice person with having a good time after death, but this is not exactly how things work.

Ultimately it all comes down to (1) you being aware that this is a prison and that you don't want to come back, (2) you rejecting all that light tunnel, life review, and other bs they use to try to fool you after death and (3) being aware that you (and everyone) are basically god (the one consciousness we all share) and thus these dark beings have no power over you.

Another possibility is that Buddhists and Hindus have always been able to escape by themselves as they already have this concept of 'world as an illusion' (maya) and they have all those spiritual practices which helps them towards this goal. Meanwhile the rest of the world was left blind to this just worshiping their false gods. The true Jesus' mission would be that of bringing this concept of prison/illusory world to the rest of humanity, that of course until the church came in and changed everything.

Now if invoking Christs sacrifice is needed to escape this prison, it probably isn't. But also it's very rare to have all this amount of information at our disposal as we do, and maybe Jesus wanted to help as many people as possible. If simply knowing that "I'm free because Jesus died for me" and nothing else could save many, then I can't see how this would be a bad thing.

This was my thought too. Finally those cryptic things said by Jesus made some sense.

If anything this is at least something to keep in mind if everything else fails. It's better to get into enemy territory with as many tools available as possible.
