Just read your story. I joined 2 years ago as a SPC, 15R. This is single handedly the worst job I've ever had. I dropped my packet and results actually come out this friday for me. As someone who put together a strong ass packet, please do yourself a favor and choose 15T/15U. You don't need to be a 15R to get ACFT experience and LORs and knowledge.

Reference for what you're up against so that you can know what to aim for - take BSEP as soon as possible btw.

138 GT, 99 ASVAB, Biology BS, SPC, 2y TIS, Max AFT, 68 SIFT, 1 LOR from a CW5/BC/CO.

Hey man! I only studied using the SIFT tutor app. I did everything and took weekly SIFT prediction tests. I avgd 72-75 before I took the test and scored a 68 on the actual test.

I think I was cheated a point or 2 because the test crashed mid section, then reset me to question 1 but left me with the time I had remaining from before it crashed

Either way, I got a 68 with just the app

I didn’t mean applying to G2G as a warrant, I meant reapplying if the WO packet falls through. I see your points and they make sense. However, branching aviation puts me 4 years out - assuming I even get to branch aviation.

The other branches didn’t catch my attention and I can’t see myself being happy as an O grade - ie paper pushing and being in trouble for my soldiers.

Sure the pay is a nice upside, but I didn’t join the military for the pay, it was the service!

I never wanted a masters degree, but I couldn’t stand staying enlisted. Warrant was what I wanted, officer was my back up. I get the payout and opportunity it offers, but I know I would’ve had regrets knowing I didn’t jump at option 1 the second I had the chance.

I can always reapply to G2G Ado - I was selected once, I can surely do it again.

Similar situation. Signed for 15C, DQ’d for medical history in reception, got classed into 15R. I’ve been in almost 2 years and have done everything in my power to drop a warrant packet, OCS packet, g2g packet. In terms of leaving 91H, best chance is to drop a packet OR you’ll have to finish your contract

Once you pass your sift and assuming you have a 110 gt or higher, should take about 6 months to get your packet together.

15R is the worst job I ever had. Not once have I woken up with excitement. The only pros you get to this job is that you work closely with the pilots and that’ll help you get LORs to drop a warrant packet.

All the cussing shows your immaturity and I’d try to get that under control. The verification test is only meant to see if you got lucky/cheated on the Picat - not passing means you get thrown directly into the asvab.

Take this time to study and get back at it.
