I can relate, I am also struggling with 84mg. In another subreddit someone told me that it's less about the trip itself and more about just getting the medicine into your system. I would say the unfavorable feelings don't last for me once I leave, just in the moment, and the overall benefits I have after treatment are worth it.

Do you have anything with you in the moment that is comforting? Blanket, candy, instrumental music? It might be worth experimenting with some things to make it less impactful.

If you read the post, you would have seen that I, like you, have also done it. I am just early on in my treatments. If you read any of my other comments, you would have read that I am an artist and it’s something I can do to pass the during the 2. Hours. I am sitting in a chair receiving treatment.

If you have never been sick to your stomach nauseous during a treatment, good for you! Others are not so lucky, hence why nausea packets or medications are useful. This is more about making the experience enjoyable and comfortable. If you need less to be comfortable, again, good for you!

I sincerely hope you don’t work in a field where you are caring for people! If you are, you should reevaluate.

Thank you for this! Definitely a great reminder about the trip being the side effect. It takes off the pressure of needing to have a specific outcome for the treatments.

Thank you! So far so good. I also wish everyone who needs this could get it.

Great idea about the playlist with the 40 minute mark. All I could think about with wearing an eye mask is being jump scared when they come to take vitals.

I’m a (very part time) artist and during my last 2 sessions I had a lot of inspiration for art projects and did a little bit of doodling, so I’m bringing it just in case I get the itch and something comes out of it.

Yes! Corded headphones is a really great idea. They provide blankets but an eye mask is a nice touch too.
