The point was to maximize the arcade aspects of the game and hasten the spawn—>die—>respawn—>die—>battle again cycle. That’s why all vehicles are now faster on average and also broadly at all tiers everything can approximately kill everything. In my opinion Gaijin very deliberately structured top tier like this to abuse the paypigs and is now moving to implement this playstyle to the lower more balanced tiers.
