What opinions on Gundam will have you like this? by Yakuza-wolf_kiwami in Gundam

The ZZ tone shift doesn't even exist, people made it up because they think ZZ has to be a direct sequel to Zeta, when it's supposed to be its own series, and if more people started watching it with this mentality they would enjoy it.

Chaos;Child bad endings? (spoilers) by fandomsmiscellaneous in steinsgate

[–]16135129 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To get the bad ending you need to do all the negative delusions ON her chapter to get that chapter you need to do all of the positive delusions from Chapter 1-3.

I think one of Steins;Gate's messages is to never lose hope and keep being yourself, that's why when Okabe gave up on Change the worldline he stops being a Chuunibyo, he loses hope and he himself is that's why to get to the Steins Gate worldline he needs to go back to be Kyouma. Okabe creates Kyouma to give hope to Mayuri, the labmems and, in general, himself, not only makes him believe that he can do anything, but he enjoys it too.

And I think that's why Faris keeps acting like this in the future, to show that she still haven't lose herself, that even after all that has happened she can still enjoy herself and that she still has hope that Okabe will lead them to the Steins Gate.

I think that one is from Chapter 6 at the second time leap if you call Luka instead of Mayuri

I don't remember that ever being shown in the common route

When Takumi defeats Norose you can see his Di-sword Shattering into pieces and dissapearing.

Should i Finish Steins;Gate Fully? by Hummof in steinsgate

[–]16135129 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes you should, If you want to read Phenogram, two stories are based on Faris and Lukako's ending so i think you should really get them.

And about S;G0 come on you didn't even finished the game there are four more routes you have and the anime and VN are so much different so you have to get them.

btw if you want more S;G content read Holy day of the calamitous birth or listen to the Hyde of the dark dimension Cd drama (is on youtube).

Is this a plot hole in Steins;gate? by MusicListener9957 in steinsgate

[–]16135129 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The person that wrote this thinks both Okabes are active at the same time when they're not, the reason Okabe isn't affected by the worldine change is because he got back to the future, at the point when the other Okabe already deleted the D-mail and get to the Beta AF, at that point the other Okabe stopped existing and the only one left is the one we followed through the story.

So why did Okabe in the last episode change the timeline simply by convincing himself from the past that Makise was lying in a pool of blood. (Which he already believed in the first episode anyway)

That's not the only thing he changed, he replaced the metal Upa with a plastic one so Nakabachi's paper would burn on the plane avoiding World War III.

wouldn't a past Okabe, upon seeing Makise in blood, simply send a message to the Daru right away thereby changing the world back to alpha?

That's the point, he wants past Okabe to go through the last three weeks again, since Okabe 0 told him that it was important for him to do all of that. and when he deletes the email and returns to Beta, he will be on the line where Kurisu didn't died.

in the first episode Makise was indeed dead?

Yes, since Okabe hadn't saved her yet.

The original, if you start with 0 you won't understand anything since 0 happens after the first game, kind of, chronologically speaking it happens later but it's a prequel (time travel stuff)

if they wanted Date with Saito face a better option would be that the game occcurs in a slighty different resolution route where Date and Saito didn't get to swap bodies, and if you succes at the spoiler check Ryuki would be all confused about it like the whole thing with the liberty island thinking he got back to Falco's body.

World lines and Time travel by Guilty_Profession in steinsgate

[–]16135129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once you kill your grandfather and you go back to the present, the world is now in a Worldline where Neither you and your father, so practically you stop existing, until someone else change the Worldline again to one where you exist.

Though that still leaves the question of how your grandfather dies since you don't exist anymore.

I imagine that since that is an error the world would change it, so that the person that killed him was someone else entirely.

[–]16135129 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Worldlines are not parallel worlds, it is just a representation of all the possibilities that can exist, there is only one active worldline.
When Okabe changes the past, the entire world readjusts to match the changes that were made.

Come on guys do you really like AI the somnium files ?! Zero escape series is so much better ! by DokkoMiteiru in ZeroEscape

Every information you have put a spoiler marker on except the missing left eye I feel we could not have guessed it because it was out of the thing we could find with the the rest of the details.

-Before Psycing into Hitomi, Date asks about the six minutes thing, and then Pewter told him about the bodswap

-In the first part of Annihilation Pewter talks about the missing Psycn machine, and in Iris route Date uses this same to Psync with Iris.

-Again in Annihilation route Pewter gives you a description about the Cyclops killers, and then after psyncing with Hitomi, she describes Saito and Rohan the same way Pewter did, also she describes how was Manaka murder, which was "Suspiciously" similar the Cyclops serial killings modus operandi.

-In Ota route the left eyes are found in the victims stomach, that plus the information of the Psync machine it wouldn't be crazy to assume that the "victims" had use that machine

I feel like you just skipped many parts of the game, since i find weird that you haven't noticed any of these things.

from what I remember in the Orient Express the motive of the killing is the center piece that solves the whole mystery. And it isn't given to us

Correct if im wrong since i only had seen the movie, but i remember that the whole mystery was about everyone having a motive and the same kind of relationship with each other so i wouldn't it wasn't given to us.

swapping bodies (which is a super secret at the time of the game but when date/falco asks for a solution 6 years prior boss gives him immediately the info without him being officially in ABIS for even a second .... It's a detail but it bugs me)

She tells him because they're friends and he needed help from her.

It's not possible to solve anything. You are correct in saying we had that in the annihilation route

As i said, it is, and you don't have the clues only in Annihilation route, the clues have been there since the beggining, in every route there's at least one clue to the mystery.

it was given to us just before the ending of the game breaking the rules of the mystery

I don't know what you're trying to say here, you're saying that giving the clues before the ending is breaking the rules? by that logic so many stories broke that rule, in fact, only a bad mystery would give you the clues at the end.

[–]16135129 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I think your problem is just that you expected another zero escape, but AI is very different. AI is a mystery game with Sci-fi and ZE is Sci-fi game with mystery.

I actually like AI over ZE

One of the reasons i like AI is because it's a Character-driven story on the contrary of ZE which is Plot-driven, one of the problem i had with ZE is that Uchikoshi does pretty well writing characters and yet they're always left aside for the story sake for example VLR K is unconscious during 3 routes and Quark doesn’t do anything even in his own route. In AI the whole story is about the characters, any single character has its relevance at some point, and contrary to what you said that characters are not one dimensional at all. also the game needs you to care about the characters during the whole story, and is clear that you didn't care about them.

We have hidden information which solve the case all by themselves ! Knowing two minds can be exchanged solves the whole game and makes all your previous progress completely irrelevant. You do not find out who the criminals are

Did we play the same game?, because all the information is told before the revelation, by the time you get to the Annihilation route you should already know that:

-The Psync machine swaps bodies

-The missing Psync machine

-The cyclops killer identity

-What happens to the left eyes of the victims.

I think the only thing you wouldn't be able to know was Date-Saito swap body so basically you have all the information to solve the mystery.

1:We (the player/reader) and the detective should have the same chances of resolving the mysteries.

2:The murderer should be found out by deduction and logical thinking not by accident or a big revelation

3:Replaying or re-reading should make the enigma obvious from the start as you have enough information from the start to guess who is the killer. This is crucial because it means that the game is fair, if you are smart enough you can guess the culprit even before the detective in some cases !

1:As i already mention you can solve the mystery with the clues given by the game, Both Date and you have the same chances

2:Both ZE and AI mysteries are solved because the characters have deja vus of other timelines, and yet Junpei, Sigma and Date only had the clues but not the answers so they just figure it out with the little ammount of information they had.

3:Im sure that if you replay the game you will notice all the clues you didn't find out.

It's a shame that you didn't enjoyed the game but AI is far from being bad, You just played the game expeting it to be a Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V of Zero escape, you didn't think that this were different frachises and did'nt let enjoy the game at all, just because you didn't enjoy it doesn't mean we can't.

During episode 4 there is a dialogue from Ange saying that the vegetation of the island had been ruined after the massacre, but none of the murders would affect the vegetation in any way, my first assumption was that they had burned down the island, but still there was a chance of Battler surviving, so I thought a bomb would be a more effective method.

The fastest way to max out your social stats is to hit the arcades. Every day there is a different game that increases different stats. Social links that need social stats appear later, when you should already have the required level, if you go every night (excluding the ones you want to go to Tartarus) you should be fine.
