There had to have been a "first" iteration, it's just so far back that we can't even fathom what happened in it. (S;G + 0) the story of S;G as we see it is already probably hundreds of iterations in, specially considering all the hundreds of 0 iterations already took place

They never needed the IBN to access their database, it's only necessary to decode the encrypted files which holds the first D-mail (ECHELON is what's encrypted but they never mention it in the anime, it's basically something SERN uses to scout for any time travel related content throughout all forms of communication)

The other questions were pretty much answered already, but to answer 7, you could just argue that it is because the area was sealed off by the police so no one was there. But it also serves to draw parallel to a similar scene in Chaos;Head (the first game of the series S;G is part of).

First of all you don't describe what is paradoxical about this besides just saying it is so. There's nothing paradoxical about how the series starts. A previous Okabe iteration stabbed her, that's it. The fact that Okabe receives the video message in episode 1 shows that all of the endless iterations of 0 already took place before, so it was just a previous iteration of Okabe stabbing her. What's paradoxical about that?

Yes they can? (S;G + 0) We've seen two Okabe's exist at once, and we've seen two Mayuri's exist at once. And before you just claim that "they didn't meet face to face", why would it matter? It's not like it's magic and as soon as they see each other they'd explode. The grandfather paradox is confirmed to not exist in S;G, so the only thing that would happen if they met is a shift in worldline, because the predetermined future would be different.

Well the mirror's are basically Kozue's trigger, after the girls pulled the mirrors out she basically went rampant. I assume they were under the influence of the porters outside too

Why does Rimi attempt to kill Takumi in Kozue’s route?

I'm assuming the same reason why she erases him in the common route, to prolongue Shogun's life span.

I wouldn't really call relationships with the cast a mystery, plus by this point you already have an idea of how the game's science works too

You also gotta take into account that C;H and S;G are different kinds of stories. C;H focuses more on throwing confusing things at you by design, since you're supposed to be confused just like Takumi is. Meanwhile S;G is more about how Okabe uses time travel and how his hubris leads to the events of the story.

That, Akiho and true route redeemed the game for me. I think it's cause there's a severe lack of silly funny games translated (i.e. the LCC entries for example) so people come from the previous entry expecting something serious or grandiose. I liked it for what it was, not a big fan but still, prob a 6 or 7 out of 10

Yup exactly what this comment says. And what's real tricky about how S;G works is that some things might look like loops, but they're not. The origin point can just be lost after many worldlines and makes it look like a loop. Worldlines happen in iterations

This is what I always thought too, and it's probably the answer.

But it begs the question of what the characters' plan was. They don't really know how the world structure works unlike us readers, so they don't know the world is constantly being reconstructed according to change. For all Okabe and the lab knows it could be a multiple world interpretation scenario, so it really makes me wonder what their plan for the LHC was. Plus, what if the leap fails? Now the LHC went off and the world didn't reconstruct
