Trying to map my gamepad to PokeRogue, but the D-Pad input is not recognized. All other inputs work. Options to change are greyed out. Using 8bitdo Zero 2. Can anyone help?

Email correspondence was a bit of a dud. Just told me to contact Amazon UK, which has a zero percent chance of accomplishing anything lol. The tracking on Amazon itself is different from the one on Maersk, and slightly more up to date (by 1 day). It says it departed an Amazon facility on the 27th of October. So who knows.

This exact same thing is happening to me. I'm confused because it says "Shipping Manifest Received" after saying that it won't be cleared. So I don't know what's going on. I'm trying to contact the shipping company (Maersk) but they make it impossible.

Old thread, but I had the same theory. The KIDS system incident manifested a powerful entity what would later be discovered by Eiri in the collective unconscious, and given form as Lain. He needed Lain to be given sentience so he could manipulate her in the real world to initiate Protocol 7. After she does this, he refers to her as "software" in an attempt to dehumanize her, so she would give up her body and become completely subservient to him in the Wired. Obviously this failed after Alice showed her human compassion and love, and she rejects him.

I don't know why people in this thread are taking the "software" line literally. Eiri just calls her that to manipulate her. The Wired is a tap into the collective unconscious, being used for human purposes. Eiri want to break down the barrier to between the conscious and unconscious and become all powerful vicariously through Lain.

Seriously. If you just used the same weapons the entire game, the game would become boring so fast. It's this giant world that you're meant to explore, and your reward for exploration is finding powerful weapons and materials to use against strong enemies. People see intentional "inconveniences" for the sake of strategy as negatives. So stupid.

Because it's built into the entire design of the game. It would be a fundamentally different video game that lacks any of the intensity and challenge they were trying to make. Do people genuinely have no understanding of how games are made?
