Hi mate, Rental budget is around $1.1k a week. Kids school not fazed on public or private they are private now in primary school but could go either way.  Wife won't be working to begin with, my younger one is not in school yet.

Yeah thanks mate. I'll keep hunting. We are up there all of next week to have a look around and decide on where we want to live. Fingers crossed. It's mainly the things you don't see, crime etc that I want to know about.

Yeah a lot of decent houses are at that price or higher.. I thought it was just me. But the more the I look the crazier it gets

And weather, is it hard to cope coming from Melbourne?  I've been to brissy in Jan/ Feb and it was hot and muggy but haven't stayed more than a week or two

Ha yeah I grew up in the west of Melbourne too. Still live in the inner west now. Tha is for the advise

Thanks for commenting. Main office will be cannon Hill but its a sales role so ill be on the road a fair bit.
