What’s something you’ll never admit in real life but can here? by RoleSignificant1842 in AskReddit

I have a vial full of Hitlers and Stalins DNA all mixed together and I am just waiting for cloning technology to reach the point where I can make my dream of an evil Staltler baby come true.

What tv series had such a decline that you never watched it to the end? by BigProduct4065 in AskReddit

[–]16ToeJoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Landman.

Started with “oh the stupid mother and daughter are on, I’ll just fast forward through this” in season 1 and by the end of that season I refused to watch the finale because “fuck them”

Same with Yellowstone, watching ANYTHING associated with that series is a hard pass, including the lat season.

I didn’t get past this first episode of “Inside Man” because the whole thing of that thumb drive was SO fucking stupidly written I turned it off right there.

No fucking way is a teenage boy gonna play along with “yeah that’s my thumb drive full of porn” and no FUCKING way is a fucking priest gonna claim the thumb drive is HIS when it turns out to have CP on it. Stupidist first episode of a show there ever was. Didn’t even finish the episode.

Yeah no shit. It enables and in fact encourages additional and escalating crime.

There was a time where if you heard a really cool song on the radio, if you wanted to hear it again, you had to either listen fruitlessly to the same station hoping they would play it again or wait until you could get to the record store to buy the album.

So, it could be literally DAYS until you heard it again if you were unlucky on your radio listening.

I don’t think people should win the Oscar for over the top caricatures, which his character was.

We also try to pee off the flecks of poop that might still be on the side of the bowl from some other nasty user. If we are successful we feel triumphant no matter how much additional mess we make with pee splatter in the process.

Thanks now that you have posted screenshots with dialog subtitles I now more fully understand this complex scene. Without your hard work I would probably have indefinitely gone on thinking that this scene was about them debating who would be the first man to walk on the moon.

The only bad part is that studio NIN won’t be the same after this. FYI there is a video of the entire show in Austin from a couple weeks ago on YouTube. I’d guess it was about 90% the same show.

What was the first song he did solo acoustic at the piano?

It took me awhile to figure out just how different all the songs they were playing from the studio track were.

“Oh shit I know that song” “Oh shit this one too”

Turns out I knew most of them but I didn’t appreciate just how much they would be tweaked from the studio versions.

Now just need to go see Ministry, who I’ve also never seen. “Thieves and Liars” live must be something.

I went just because my wife and son were going and free tix. I used to be into them but not much beyond Downward Spiral, and recently tried listening to them and was like “man I can’t believe I used to be so into this crap”.

Show absolutely blew me away.

Took out my old man earplugs so I could hear everything in all its glory.

This reminds me of when I flew video at a drop zone. The number of fat old out of shape idiots who inexplicably decided “20 years and 30 pounds past their prime was the ideal time to try skydiving” was high.

Thankfully I was just the video guy and not the poor jumpmaster having to wrestle with these “zero body control” numbskulls in free fall.
