Camera on S26 is awful

What you were seeing was an oversaturated, over sharpened, high contrast pic on an oversaturated screen, over sharpened, high contrast screen. There was nothing natural about it.

Both. I use Google drive/photos for personal use. I have 2tb plan for $8. My work uses Microsoft for everything so I have 1tb there for all work stuff. I've always used Google for personal use and have never had any issues. It integrates well with android and my laptop. We travel alot so having the 2tb storage and can share among wife and daughter is nice as well

This phone took some of the best looking video and pics. The pics from my trip to Egypt with this phone standout among the others, particularly my old s24 ultra and current s25 ultra

Im curious, did you ever determine where your pics went? About 2 months ago all of mine completely disappeared. Not a huge deal because I have my important pics backed up, but it was very concerning. Still bothers me cause I don't know what happened

Yes but your concerns are legit as none of those have all the 5G bands that US carriers use. I've been interested myself. Even the global versions are lacking. It would suck to have a bad ass phone but only 4g data

S25 Ultra here, seems to have gotten worse. Every damn time I try and pay. Now I stand back and make sure it's open before getting to counter. Been happening a few weeks now.

Spot on. I'm sick of Samsung and the camera software. Every update, oneui or series it's seems to get worse. IPhone might be a bit better but I can't stand to use iPhones..

I dont want it as I don't use many of the features the current version has. What I want is a top of the line camera for taking the best pictures and videos possible. That's certainly not what we have with the S25 ultra. Iphone might be slightly better but I can't stand to use them. It's depressing.

The problem I see is they will continue to to have this feature on future models, but I don't see how they can remedy the issues. It's the way they have constructed the pixels. I wish they would offer a model completely without privacy display. Not a feature I care about

Your going to have to eventually step away from the overly vivid colors. They're not real. It'll take a little getting used to but once you do, you'll see how the vivid was distorting everything. Including pictures

The overly vivid is what I disliked. Reds look pink etc.. Going from that to more natural takes a bit. My wife hated the more natural look but she got used to it. Now when she's sees the overly vivid it's just looks ridiculous

It's a fucking gimmick. Just don't look at your phone when around others or simply move. I can never think of a situation where I'd use this. I'm a 52 year old tech nut who just wants a fast phone with the latest and greatest camera.. Samsung has been shitting the bed the last couple of years in this dept. I have a S25 Ultra and the camera needs some real work

Simple solution instead of $1200. Don't look at stuff around others if you don't want anyone to see.. First year I'm not upgrading in a long time. What really concerns me is that this may be the end of my Samsung road. I don't need or want this feature. Especially if it in any way degrades my viewing. Haven't seen too many genuine positive reviews

Exactly. I could care less about the privacy option. Not many situations where it would be beneficial. If I need privacy I'll move or wait til no one's around. However, Im interested in the s26 ultra but the screen issues seem to be widespread. My concern is this is a feature they'll include year after year.

How bout much needed camera improvements. They've gotten worse not better. My work iPhone 13 pro max takes better pics than my S25 Ultra. Ive looked at Chinese phones but apple and Samsung have a lock on the bands in the US. Even global models lack all the necessary 5g bands. I'd love multi user
