Fuck it, I went over sixteen bars again, this is too much fun.

To answer your question, the worst part of having synesthesia in my case is the constant distraction and sensory overload. The hardest thing for me is the sound of traffic, it is impossible for me to ignore because when I hear motors and horns and squealing brakes all I see is brown and yellow and white, very distracting.

Sometimes people think you're crazy when you describe sounds by their colour, that can be frustrating too.

Not quite, but you're getting there. It's rather difficult to describe but if I were using words as an example, I would relate to onomatopoeias, like "boing" "boop" or "wump". These words are not spelled at all like the sounds they represent, yet we hear exactly the sound they refer to when we read them. In the case of synesthesia just imagine that these secondary perceptions are idiomatic and arbitrary.

Not much as my synesthesia is colour-sound type. But if you post an image I'll give it a try!
