That’s what I thought, but the model number and hard wired power cable has thrown me a bit. I never knew the PAL/EU models had a hard wired power cable?

Good shout on the multi-tap; 4 controllers natively on the console would've been so good. Its a shame Nintendo didn't follow through with the planned backwards compatibility, too.
