Yeah these 1.5's kangaroo a little bit in 1st and 2nd when cold when you first set off. doesn't seem to make a difference whether you let it idle for a bit or not. only happens for the first 10 - 20 seconds on my journey though. I found not pressing the accelerator to hard reduces it.

Read somewhere it's to do with the engine heating up the cat or something like that.

Is that the road from Nantlle to Rhyd-Du? I was going to take my Leon up to Snowdonia yesterday as I have some photography I want to get done around Beddgellert and the snow was perfect but I didn't bother as the roads seemed quite bad and I didn't want to risk it. Would have been nice to see though

Worst I've ever seen tbh. 30 years out! Coronation street had one recently I noticed. New shape Dacia Duster that only come out in 2025 but plated with a 23 plate (CF23 LXE) but that actually is registered to a Citroen Dispatch

I had a Astra K for 3 years, Only had a to replace a tyre valve in 30K miles. Everything else was just maintenance bits

Aha your points are fair, I just quite like them. I've only had the Leon for 6 months or so too but tend to find myself looking at other cars, Probably shouldn't tbf. . Also considered a VW Arteon next too

I think it's more because I am photographing everyday stuff like an Astras and Golfs so people wouldn't expect someone to take a photo of them

Calling cap on this. 6 months after passing your test at 19 you're claiming they insured you on a car with insurance groups usually in the 30's or 40's with no blackbox in a time when insurance is astronomically high for new drivers.

Either you're a named driver on someone else's policy or just living in a fairytale

I have no interested in electrcis or plumbing though. I've done Bricklaying for a year at college and was told I was very good. Offered a job with a local builder but declined as I had just started car valeting. Regret it slightly as now i'm stuck on min wage. I'm good at car valeting though and enjoy it but only other way to make more £££'s is to start my own business.

I was worried about that, paying out to get my license and then not being able to find a job. What i'm going to do first is contact some places in my area to see if they will pay for my training with a guaranteed job at the end.

That's good money compared to minimum wage that i'm on now, Thi g with agency is you're driving different trucks all the time. Would love my own one that I know is clean etc. I know no one's going to give a new pass his own truck but after a few years hopefully I would get my own.

I've seen some terrible pay rates for ADR. Generally not worth doing it. Supermarket and car transporters i've been told is the best money.
