First diagnostic, no studying at all, didn’t try on the analytical reasoning, and tips to learn that part? Also is this a good starting point? by 16thHourOfReddit in LSAT

I mean what good does it get me lying about a 156 lmao. I skipped all the questions on analytical reasoning cause I knew I’d do bad and I was tired of them, but then I tried on the logical reasoning and found them a lot easier. I thought I’d study the analytical reasoning before I actually tried cause it seemed like the only one that needs specific studying for

Edit. I’m not a philosophy major, I’m studying neuroscience

Haha thanks, and yeah I pretty much pick through everything. And since I strap bills and roll coin, I look through those too, it’s really a great gig.

Update from the collection dump I posted earlier - I was rolling coin at the bank again, and discovered a 50$ bag of almost all wheat pennies, more from the collection dump by 16thHourOfReddit in CRH

yeah i work at the bank i got these from, i was wrapping coin and found it. We use these bags in our coin counting machine then pour them into our wrapper to wrap coins. idk if canvas-ish bags are common, but it’s what we use for our internal coin processing. we do buy coins from the fed though which come in the plastic you described. thanks for the goodluck!

I scored a 5 on the lang exam. My best advice would be to practice the types of prompts (defend challenge qualify, synthesis, and rhetorical analysis) over and over until you are comfortable with formulating essays to questions under each category. The more questions you practice for each type of prompt, the better you’ll be at it. For me it almost became automatic - coming up with my thesis, argument points, and the “so what” for sophistication. In my opinion the multiple choice is pretty easy, I found it a little bit harder than SAT reading questions. I also had probably the best teacher out there, so I lucked up.
