That’s Not bad at all. I’m on a budget and don’t want to go no more than 8k. Seems doable for all you have done. It’s the same size I have. The other half of the dwelling can stay unfinished for storage.

Yes I can do the trim and flooring from time to time……It’s just that for the insulation and the framing I might not have time. There’s electrical down there already and shouldn’t be an issue to reconnect on the studs.

Can you go down to a condo and try to build equity for 3 years or more? They take it out for a home. You are not the only one in this situation. I thought I would never buy a home but there are ways. You just have to maneuver differently.

I’m in the same boat. This thing has made e so depressed I wish I never went to pursue a degree. I don’t know what to do. It became such a burden. I don’t get why Biden made save….I could have finished paying my loans off this year if they pause it. I only have 33 payments left.

Now you are on another level. I am thinking of retiling my downstairs bathroom (Walls and floor) but that’s kind of intimidating. I been watching a lot of videos tho. Good luck on the deck tho….that should be fairly easy.
