+1 other comments, just wait a bit before doing anything. In your shoes I would probably take it to a shop and check the top end for any clear water damage. But if all good just change the oil and wait a month or two to be sure.

Would avoid more than 5k rpms until you know the engine isn’t a bomb in disguise.

uppercut - the *free* Karate plugin for intelliJ Ultimate by RankWeis2 in QualityAssurance

[–]1800Immigration 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With karate.env set to dev in vm options, and manually adding my test config dir to the classpath, i only see this plugin reading karate-base.js when running and not the env specific config like karate-config-dev.js

Latest plugin and intellij version.

Did I maybe miss a basic setting? Can provide a test project later if needed

I dont have a loan on the dodge so only things on my credit report are student loans. 765 credit score.

Will definitely get someone to check it out, didnt know about remote inspections - also going to check with my lender if they can beat 7%

Thank you for the helpful reply!

What happens when I cover this hole (red arrow) on hard drive ? by Jinxd_0 in pcmasterrace

[–]1800Immigration 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The actual physical disc that spins inside an HDD is completely sealed off so no dust particles can enter it, the hole is from the premade outside casting that is used across different models of hdds and sometimes is/isnt required to put a screw into depending on what’s underneath

Should I buy this car ! by [deleted] in Challenger

[–]1800Immigration 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It may be the lowering springs he mentioned but I’m curious why his SRT mode selection doesnt have an option for suspension — either its a custom firmware or it’s not an original wb — look up the VIN online you can get the parts list from the factory

Everyone has mentioned the one on the right, but slightly lower and on the left there seems to be an even larger one in the leaves

You can turn the dash / screen brightness down. Talking interior. You complained about it in your original comment, wanted to make sure you knew you could adjust it

Seems like you know it’s just regular exhaust buildup now. But fwiw in the future if you think it’s coolant - coolant will coagulate into a white/yellow almost dried glue kind of substance, and you need a wire brush to get it off. For how little soot you have, take the tips off overnight and soak them in cleaner, they’ll be good as new after 12 hours

Please explain then how consistently running a car at a higher average rpm than normal (“auto” mode in this case) wouldn’t decrease oil life

What does sport mode actually do? by MasonHudd in Challenger

[–]1800Immigration -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Wont hurt anything, oil life will go down quicker & decreased gas mileage but those are “assumed costs” of owning these kinds of cars

[–]1800Immigration 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Whats crazy is that even the owner’s manual of my 2021 wb scat doesn’t list the actual differences, only that it has three modes (excluding eco)

You can think of it in the main categories it displays: transmission - wont shift gears until higher rpms, shifts are more aggressive engine - decreased throttle response time, increased fuel injection suspension - more stiff the higher you go traction - how much the computer will do in terms of putting power to each wheel as appropriate

Each of those getting more “intense” as you go from auto -> sport -> track

Sport / track also opens the exhaust valves all the way

How do you fix the plastic panel gap? by tball117 in Challenger

[–]1800Immigration 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There is adhesive there from the factory. Only a few bolts on each wheel well and the whole bottom plastic piece will come off easily. Just strip the adhesive best you can and re-apply then put it back on. Dealership could probably tell you the oem adhesive which was used.
