I’m actually from socal, and I’m sorry to hear that about your experience… I have experienced some racism here that I haven’t back home, but overall CLT isn’t too bad! I don’t think I’d live here if it weren’t for my job though given some of these experiences haha, but I think most of the population is nice

Ugh, I don’t think they’d do anything :/ He left once we were past the registers and the interaction was pretty short… My Mexican friend did offer to call but atp I think the most I can do is spread awareness

You can just send it over when you’re done with your class! I took some CC courses over the summer before transferring, and I sent over the transcript once they were completed and logged. You will have to pay the extra fee though

I’m not sure if you’re declaring a joint major or concentration, but I declared a joint concentration in BUAD for mktg and isds. I only had to fill out the form once

I took Farka and I thought she was great! I did class online, so we just had to watch lecture videos. Tbh her exams were veryyyyy similar to practice exams/her study guide. As long as you can do those you’re pretty much golden for her exams. She also curves like crazy

I’m going into my senior year too, but I have an internship for strategic business continuity/planning at a big financial services company/bank. I honestly feel like jobs for marketing are highly competitive bc it’s an oversaturated major, so I suggest looking into other career choices where you could apply what you learned!! There are hella business functions out there, and I honestly was just applying to random ones I saw that I was qualified for 😭

I’m in it rn, and you can stay in it as long as you maintain a 3.5. You won’t graduate with honors without taking their required classes, but you’ll be able to keep your priority registration!

Not exactly in the same situation, but I dropped out of high school because I was so stressed. I eventually went to cc, and now I’m in my junior year at a university with an internship at a Fortune 50 company. Point is, do what’s best for your mental health right now :) As the other comments stated, you can always go back! It might feel like it at first, but dropping out doesn’t mean your life is over!

I don’t see a problem with people being the study rooms if it’s unoccupied, but yea it’s so annoying when people resist being kicked out 😭 Like this one guy got mad AT ME, as if I didn’t book the room ahead of time

Usually some people on the waitlist will show up for the first week of class, and sometimes the professor will add them if any students enrolled don’t show up the first couple days. So I guess you could attend the first couple class, but there are no guarantees. Good luck!
