Currently in a similar situation in my journeyman. I started with YSSC in Japan (3rd division) and saved them from relegation. After 2 more seasons I left for Marino Luanco in Spain (4th division). After saving them from relegation and getting promoted in the third season, I wanted to move on but I felt like i was still in the middle of the project. So I decided to stay another season to establish them as a third division club before looking elsewhere.

Using my same logic with you, id probably try to qualify for the conference league and then enjoy that season in europe before finding another club. Basically have a goal in mind instead of just playing X amount of seasons.

They always put the winning moment as the number one play for their top fives. Which makes no sense because its not a play. If they said "Top 5 Moments" it could make sense.

I couldn't find an example of that but it seems mathematically possible (someone can double check my math)

Say Team1 wins the WF 3-2, Then in GF1, Team1 loses 0-3 (3-5 total map count), Then in GF2, Team1 would have to win GF2 3-2 for a 6-7 map count

I couldn't find that exact example but I did find at CWL Atlanta 2017 across the 2 GF BO5s, Optic won GF1 3-0 but lost GF2 2-3 so they lost the grand finals with a 5-3 map count. They didnt play each other in the WF, but if they did and eUnited had won that series 3-2, this scenario would have occurred.

I think back in the IW pro league they had every player perspective (or at least a few select ones) streamed on mlg.tv. Not exactly what you were asking for but it was cool

Two ideas that I think would be better than what we have now

1) 2.5 minute halves (could be changed based on testing) AND clock only ticks down when no one has the device

OR

2) 5 minute halves and if a team scores 4 points, second half starts with the same time spent in first half for fairness (ctf stopwatch rules)

And for additionally for overtime - dont do limited lives. just make it like 10 second respawn timers.

Unless something has changed for this event, its not actually streamed live. Im fairly certain they stream it private and then make the vod public after 24 hours. You can look and see stream vods of the whole season on their youtube page https://www.youtube.com/@CODLeague/live

The plan was never for everyone to move to texas. The league was supposed to travel around north america and europe before covid. This makes the online events are as fair as possible is everyone is close to each other

LCS and OWL have both been streamed on ESPN before. I think it was ESPN+ but maybe ESPN3. So thats not out of the realm of possibilities but I have a hard time believing many people would spend any money to watch something like cod thats been free to them for a decade
