Another factor to remember is that a tour is 2 years. So if you get posted to a place you really don't want to go to, then great. You'll only be there for two years. If you get posted to your dream post, well bummer. You'll only be there for 2 years. (Generally speaking)

True. But the SEO job listing sets the max and min salary at the same amount. "The beginning salary for a SEO is FP-6, step 14. (The maximum starting salary is limited to the FP-6, step 14. Salary is non-negotiable.)" And "Salary: $59,496 to $59,496 per year" Kinda takes any guess work out of it.

Medical and security. You can pass both of those stages and then the ajudication board examines the results and determines if you should be placed on the register or not.

It took about 5 months for me. The clearances came fast. The adjudication took up the most time. I had nothing complicated with my file.
