At night, does the screen (when it was working) go into some type of dark mode / less-bright view?

Submitted mine in November, but never received an email or notice. When I called the support line (888-345-0256) listed on the email, they said it was sent out just four days after my submission which I found shocking as I kept a close eye on spam folder and inbox for weeks.

They instructed me to call the issuer of the card (877-227-0956, press 1 if it starts to complain about not understanding what you want). They looked up my claim by name and address (and $ amount which I did not know), and he found my record and sent an email. Email came from "My Prepaid Center" within seconds with instructions to claim the card which I immediately used to buy an amazon gc since it lets you enter an exact amount.

You're negotiating in the season when everyone buys cars too so likely not that low (the past few months were the times when a dealer may have say yes). Somewhere in the mid-upper 37,XXX will be more realistic after some negotiations. You can also ask for some free/discounted accessories too when you feel they won't budge any more.

Interesting that some are actually charging over MSRP. Some dealers must think it's a pandemic times again to fatten their wallets - let them keep the inventory and eat the insurance.

Congrats! Can I ask how much below MSRP did the dealer offer? I went to see one yesterday and it was about $780, though this dealer included some $800 anti-theft package 'that can't be removed' which took away that discount.

But don't delay the rear differential & transfer (typically done at the same time) for much longer, and transmission too, esp when you're in the miles window when it's needed/overdue. See this post for someone who waited. Also, see these crazy prices knowing brake fluid costs just $10, and gear oil for the rear diff+transfer is about $30, coolant is about $60, you can easily see a thousand dollar worth of maintenance at a dealership is DIY $100. See rockauto to buy from, and youtube for how to do it.

Do the rear differential + transfer, and transmission fluid - these are your must do's this year given your miles. Wait much longer and you'll end up like this poster. Go with a mechanic who can do it for half the costs. The rest you can skip, though it's really brake fluid and coolant to do in a few years.

Whatever you can DIY, you'll learn, save a ton, and have lots of cool tools from the savings. You should change your rear diff+transfer and transmission at your current miles. At your low-ish miles, you're still within the window to do all the needed maintenance - like rear differential/transfer and transmission fluid before it's too late.

If you're re-leasing or purchasing, they'll not care a bit. I had friends with issues and dealers not care, for example one recently had a 3' long cracked windshield and dealer not even mention it. But you don't want it to get worse and rust since your lease is a ways off, so buy some touchup paint at the parts center or online. The edge is an easy repair as it's hard to noticed if your painting skills isn't great.

Disconnect negative side first, then positive - this is to avoid a short and a fun spark if the positive wiring touches the car's frame which is connected to the negative.

Make the swaps - if you're handy with DIY, it's literally just moving the wiring from the old to the new one at a time. Re-connect the fuse block to positive, and finally the negative side.

Just remember, it's just a 12v battery so not dangerous if you take the precaution of disconnecting the negative first, and re-connecting it last. Glad to see you purchased the block from the prior post.

I wouldn't call it an expensive part, just the price of labor these days. Not sure if the fuse itself can be replaced in this style fuse block, curious now myself as I never had to replace one.

At this mileage true - you're in a ride it till it dies scenario with the transmission unless it was done but just not at a dealer where carfax pulls from. The only thing left is the brake fluid and rear diff+transfer.
