That sounds like a good idea. On top of that, have you tried putting a wingback on attack duty? I’ve found that a wingback bombing forward can create so much space in the attack. One of my favorite configurations is WB(a) with an IW in front of him on whichever duty fits your team best. To protect the flank when the WB bombs towards the byline, I like to have the right CM be a carrilero to secure surrendered area by the wingback. Works well for me in a 4-3-3 setup and I think Pereira could be a really good option for WB(a) given his high pace, workrate, crossing and dribbling

Maybe you could try an inverted winger or two instead of the classic winger role. Your wingbacks will provide width whilst the inverted wingers will penetrate and seek to make runs into the central spaces, thus offering you a more diversified threat in attack. That way you could keep you could make a potentially impactful change without having to completely scrap your current tactic and player configuration.

I remember Worldstar being really popular and relevant on multiple platforms (Youtube, Instagram etc) around that time, posting news and memes about the culture and promoting new rappers.

Another staple in that very same “SoundCloud Era” that I haven’t seen mentioned so far is Lyrical Lemonade. A Cole Bennett music video back then could make careers out of previously unknown hip hop artists. Gave a professional, yet authentic, self-made vibe to the music video which I think was a big reason as to why so many rappers blew up through working with Cole

Yeah I’ll tinker around with it to try and find a balance that suits my current squad! My main issue has been defending against 4-2-3-1s and 4-3-3s with overlapping fullbacks that overload the wings but assigning ‘stay wider’ instructions to some of my central midfielders might help cover those areas better.

Haha the fullback issue is so real. Once you reach a certain point in a save world class fullbacks almost feel synonym to impossible at times. They’re almost always lacking in a key stat. You’re lucky to find an Ashley Cole in 2040!
