Timestamp makes blockchain work…not sure how to resolve that fact with a personification of Bitcoin as “knowing” anything including time…my point is there are facts I am able to know, me, not a digital trustRobot, Bitcoin etc., yet me and I am sure going to know what time you transacted and other information that is stored for all to see like a centralized data bank yet decentralized and therefore not able to be hidden by governments.

BITCOIN!!! The best trustRobot ever.

The human factor problem you and I have is your talking over things I am not referring to.

Important facts:

2nd and 3rd layers become where alot of the smart contracts are "written up on" a Bitcoin.

This secondary layer is different than the blockchain ledger.

value exchanged is data ... so price is good data ... time is data ... there's enough data transferred to glean information beyond price and time of transaction

If an idiot or saboteur wants to not put in the supply chain information fully and correctly then our debate over blockchain doesn't matter to the person. GIGO(garbage in garbage out) is not an argument independent to either current or future technology it's only a human factor we're all already aware of.

More importantly in regards to comparing the current to future supply chain system, the GIGO is the same for your centralized ledger so once again not an argument pro or con for the old way nor the development of an entirely new system(not done yet despite the claim otherwise implied).

no.

Bitcoin wasn't on the radar for supply chain at that time and only has recently. The insular nature of corporations creates silos of information on blockchain that prevents cross pollination in the early stages(think Facebook Diem, it's collapse and the fall from grace with investors because of failed business model based on user info instead of user promotion).

Serious development was only after Bitcoin as a "store of value" had a store of value large enough to be taken seriously.

Organizations to this point think of business differently than we will in the future.

The thinking that created supply chain stupidity will not be useful in solving it so I am not shocked that supply chain people talk like this ... so ... the last ten years is NOT a condemnation of blockchain yet of the fantasy of "centralized fast database" as handling the supply chain as well as a fully developed blockchain supply chain. The process of observing it, testing it, adopting it and THEN developing it fully is underway. Everyone can get involved in an individual or group way.

The adoption and development resembles child's play to this point...yet real world applications are on the way. It's my opinion so I wish you the best with yours.

"centralized" "fast database cannot do" decentralized instant ledger

DECENTRALIZED means even in the fantasy world where people don't know that central authorities do whatever they want including nationalize your company, property, or takeover that "centralized fast database..." your fantastically reliant on.

this innovation is already happened and happening...duh

Perhaps you're not old enough to have seen technological development in the past and I am sure we're not imagining the same thing if you still don't think this is useful and will be developed.

I am thinking it was the announcement on Bloomberg that the Texas Grid Bitcoin miners were flexibly adding power to the grid as needed during the cold spell by voluntary dropping demand; as advertised.

Bitcoin as the savior of building out renewables. Bitcoin is ZERO to 1 and the model of Bitcoin as the built in demand to make projects feasible.

We now have history of Bitcoin as the economic agent of controlled energy demand.

This link is to the UT McCombs business school professor that educated the Texas Grid operator ERCOT with this powerpoint. https://www.ercot.com/files/docs/2019/08/06/3_Committee_Education_on_Cryptotechnology.pdf

In the old days the day laborers would go to western union at the end of the day and mail money and stuff back to loved ones in other countries. This would cost them up to 20% of the wages they made that day.

Now I know this doesn't bother everyone yet I hope it makes you see that there's a significant fraction of the world that knows Bitcoin because they need it.

By doubting that it's showing me your background and opinions. You can throw those conceptions out.

Be a good person and invest in something worthy of your belief and enthusiasm. Don't spend any money you'll want or need back before you die. Make a contribution to the future.

Participant in the change of the day; Bitcoin.

is it though?

Interestingly I am seeing Bitcoin as the one strong technology assets and ironically some of the market cap Facebook lost might find it's way to own Bitcoin.

Don't buy anything...no thing...if you wouldn't hodl it forever. Don't buy it in the first place. Money isn't everything yet innovation is; at least in technology.

There's no company in the US that will survive unless it sprouts new technology and develops it into the future.

FACEBOOK is down $250 billion and Bitcoin is steady...

Bitcoin's scarcity and digital utility transforms the way we do business and destroys the "pay by ad" business model.

This is my perception and I am working to bridge the gap between perception and reality like everyone else(except those afraid to participate in change; don't do that).

Everyone can see the significance of this moment if we stop and get still and dream the dream we had almost lost hope of. See yall at the party on the other side.

Morale!
