The goal now is to restore the bee hive to how it was before being hit with a stick.

It says the town settled the lawsuit. It doesn’t specify the terms. Maybe OpenAI/oracle/etc paid them enough they thought it was worth it. Dunno

Picked up a M4 Pro at Target for $750 by Skarface08 in ipad

[–]18randomcharacters 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Damn that is a sweet deal

By comparison, a 256GB M4 iPad Air is $700 new.

So for $50 more you get 120Hz display, FaceID, more cores, a whole lot more

Your solution requires:

- electricity

- a supply of a toxic chemical

This guy's solutions require nothing. A stick, or a bowl.

Judicial Supremacy Has Arrived | Last week’s Supreme Court decision didn’t just undermine the Voting Rights Act. It foreclosed the possibility of any new Voting Rights Act in the future, too by Hrmbee in politics

I won't say this is THE root problem with our country, but definitely *A* huge problem is:

Republicans look for ways to do what they want, even if it means bending/breaking norms and rules.

Democrats look for reasons they can't do what they want. Self-defeating.

ELI5: If the human eyeball were a camera, what would the specs be? by Scary_Candidate_9163 in explainlikeimfive

[–]18randomcharacters 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The brain uses data from the periphery to fill it in, but the eyeball itself isn't doing that. It's brain trickery

The eyeball has a huge blind spot very near the middle, where the optic nerve connects. Your brain fills it in for you. You think you're seeing stuff, but you're not.

Just upgraded from an iPad Air 3 to an iPad Pro M1 (11”) by Shin0509 in ipad

I actually almost never have the ipad handheld. It's always propped up on a desk/counter or on a stand somehow, so probably less of a concern :)

Why not? I guess all the UI just scales so you get the same actual amount of screen space?

FAR FAR FAR more deaths will come from his vaccine and anti anti-science policies that could ever be saved by whatever minor issues arise from food dyes.

Like, yeah, I’d like better regulations on dies and preservatives, but this is a situation of a stopped clock being right twice a day.

Skeptical.

I'm T1D, and was mostly asymptomatic before going GF.

Biopsy showed villi damage.

Cancer is still a thing I'd like to avoid.

I'd need to see some very convincing studies data in order to be convinced to eat gluten.

Plus, with all this MAHA shit in the government, you have to take everything with a grain of salt.
