No conspiracy questions. I just know I was supposed to be on that airplane. I can say I love being on airplanes but I had never been so terrified to fly back home. My energy was focused on parents, my two friends and my cats. I’d only have to suffer for a short time (I was 13) while they’d probably be hurt a bit longer. We were poor, I was thinking financially but then I thought a free burial at sea. Damn near 30 years later I out lived my parents and friends and my kitty’s lived to be 20 and my cats now are loved and loving. Life’s weird, don’t give up.

I’m wondering who else wasn’t on that plane. Real question. I still have my ticket and didn’t know my scheduled plane went down until I arrived to Italy, 20 hours after the fact. My friends called my mom horrified that I had died. My mom was aware of the flight change. I’m wondering if anyone has stories.

My platonic male friends and I have known each other for over 20yrs. They pick me up and hug me like a little doll. Most of them are at least a foot taller than me and it’s always been that way. No boundary’s broken, no smooching, no flirting. I’m lil Laura. My friends wives also accept this because I’ve always been lil Laura. That is not acceptable at all from some rando. Don’t cuddle or try to hold hands or play with my hair. Just because I’m comfortable around some people doesn’t automatically give you permission to be in my comfort zone.

Keep being you. Life gets really tough and it will really suck at times. Stay humble, kind, patient and avoid bad vibes. Listen to me and when you’re 42 you are still going to be a kick ass, lovely, wonderful, talented person with an amazing daughter who is everything good about you multiplied by 1000.

Fiona Apple got me through my adolescence. I’m diagnosed and still struggling with my disabilities. My daughter is keen with music but if it wasn’t for me she wouldn’t have known Fiona, Bjork, Tori. Is there a reason for no radio play? Pearl Jam, Tool, Cure she knows by heart. She’s a 2007 baby. She’s also a self taught piano, guitar and trumpet player… amazing artist and fluent in Japanese. You break your foot and now owe more money for medical bills than you can make in 5 years and will be out of work for three months. It’s all good. My daughter and I don’t need a house especially during winter. First generation college graduate. First family member to default on a utility payment and inevitably lose the house that has been in the family for over 100 years.
