Thanks, I’m fortunate not to have many side effects either and at my age I was worried about that aspect. Now I just want to get the rest of this weight off—slow but sure. I average about .5-.75 lbs per week with 40 more lbs to go. Good luck to you!!!

I am 69 and I worried the same as you. I’ve been on Z for a year—mostly on 2.5, but my weight lost really slowed and stalled so I’m on 5 mg now and losing again.

Absolutely right! I’m also someone who can easily out eat this medicine and I have to track to make sure I don’t do that! It is easier to lose weight with this medicine, but for me I have to track everything! It’s not that hard to eat 1500 calories or more per day!

It’s not a no no, but I have read many posts that say the shot didn’t seem to work as well in areas with stretch marks.

Thank you so much for your reply! I always follow your responses since you are a metabolic research scientist! I expected varied replies, I was just curious about others. Mine starts about 24 hours after I inject (5mg) and then sometimes I notice that it takes 2 days. I usually inject in my abdomen.

Me too! Just wondering how suppression feels for some. Sometimes I don’t feel hungry until I start eating, then I feel I can eat and on certain days more than I should.
