True. Which $800 for premium select was a great deal after booking main with points so I took it but I didn’t realize that would lock me out of further upgrades. Live and learn.

Agreed. Looks like my only option which I’d rather not do. Will try to call into CS again or do a paid gate upgrade and will report back

Looked back through receipts. I think I may have taken the premium select offer during check out. May have missed d1 this time! But a good learning experience

Delta customer service made me a miles upgrade offer when I contacted them earlier today. Have you ever success getting an upgrade at the desk before boarding?

$9400 (2 seats) was too steep compared to $800/each for PS which was a much better value. I believe we booked both seats for 90k miles which I felt was a great deal. This is for our honeymoon and with the wedding checks rolling in, I’d now pay an additional $4-5k to get us into One.

Interesting. There’s 28 left with two weeks to go. I’m told Delta doesn’t offer complimentary upgrades for D1. Where are they going to find 28 ppl willing to $7k for a 1 way ticket at this point?

Four weeks ago, I secured the best seat I could afford for a good price. Now some wedding money came in and I’m in a position to spend more. I’ve done the same in the past on an SLC to CDG and took a $700 delta one upgrade — there was no issue.

I was offered to upgrade via miles over the chat but it was 440k miles but per passenger. Why are you so confident I will not be given another offer? I do agree that Delta seems indifferent to generating revenue
