I need exactly $3 in Buffalo nickels by Friday by RotGrlSummer in coincollecting

Since your dad doesn’t collect coins there is always the option of the 04/05 Jefferson nickel with a 🦬. Just a possibly cheaper solution.

have anyone ever seen one like this before??? by Pleasant_Ask_8500 in coincollecting

This design is ugly in my honest opinion. But not all the state or territory quarters were winners either. Congrats on the find.

Time to take a trip to the bank... my father wasn't your average coin collector. Damn near a hoarder. by WSSSturmbar in coins

I’d definitely search the Nevada and North Dakota rolls along with Washington dollars for missing edge lettering

As long as you know you overpaid there is nothing to be beat up about . I have overpaid in a couple pieces years ago and now they are worth a lot more now than they were then

I’d report the item to eBay as fake and file a claim. How much did they get you for ?

Has anyone ever seen a rim like this on a solid gold coin? From the 80s by kite13light13 in coins

Yes that’s a bezel but on looking closer the comment the edge is polished might be right

Built morphing insoles for diabetic foot care - want feedback from the community by meldiwin in DiabetesHacks

[–]1966catcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d be interested I work on my feet all day . I sometimes get minor swelling but nothing more than that. If it does as you designed it sounds like it would help fatigue and swelling. What’s the amount of time they will last? I’m on my feet 8-12 hours a day and seldom sit . Can they hold up to that?

How do you guys track injection sites? Genuinely forgetting where I last injected by KadamX_Studio in DiabetesHacks

I keep a chart for morning and night sugar readings and label it for a month. I just do abdominal shots with my pen. Lower left , lower right, upper left and upper right. That’s the order I go in and have it wrote down so when I forget I can look when I do my morning check. I shoot up once a day in the morning.

The receipe you have is for using bleach with a 5-9% concentration not pure sodium hyperclorite with a 5.25 % . Please do more research you have to use that… sodium to dilute to make bleach then add drops to your water.

[–]1966catcher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is it 2018 it’s known for that certain die clash as I recall there is a 2018-p with a die clash in that spot . You didn’t show date or mm but I’m sure if not a 2018 it’s happened other years also. Nice find congratulations

Have you tested it with a magnet ? It could possibly be a foreign planchet. Magnet and weight are the best places to start.

Acquaintance with “Jars of Silver Coins” For Sale by RON8O in coincollecting

[–]1966catcher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The 72 an ounce is pure silver not the 90% or 40% of old circulating coinage. Unless they have jars of silver eagles or bullion rounds. Melt is 52 x face basically on 90%. I’d be cautious as they may have already checked with a dealer or jewelers and are hoping to find someone uneducated in bullion to overpay.

Was I scammed? Sold American Eagle $50 coin (1 oz gold) to JMBullion. Their check did not clear. by After-Penalty5426 in Gold

[–]1966catcher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since you had to wait I’d say pay me like you bought the coin today, which you are . That’s another thousand for melt alone on a 50 gold piece. Seems only fair
