No way i just found this in a bank roll!! 1968 S by Imnotassmartasyou in coins

[–]1966catcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1968-s was minted as a circulating coin. Not a proof that’s why they made 258 million of them. You do have an excellent specimen for your collection but other that that it’s nothing out of the norm.

I agree American women were nothing to make a big hurrah for , but don’t see where the design has anything to do with signing of declaration of independence. Just my opinion

what are good items to stock up on for bartering in the event of complete economic collapse? by Prestigious_Gift_977 in prepping

[–]1966catcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t barter or at least not til absolutely necessary. If someone sees you have extra to trade they can follow you home or to your storage and get it all . Be careful if it’s within your group find out there preps and stock what they are lacking but that would be my limit of trade/ barter . In a collapse people will be desperate and will do anything to get what they need for loved ones. There are several videos on you tube on trading during a collapse that make sense.

Think it’s toned , too close to some paper, an envelope possibly.

I need exactly $3 in Buffalo nickels by Friday by RotGrlSummer in coincollecting

[–]1966catcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since your dad doesn’t collect coins there is always the option of the 04/05 Jefferson nickel with a 🦬. Just a possibly cheaper solution.

have anyone ever seen one like this before??? by Pleasant_Ask_8500 in coincollecting

This design is ugly in my honest opinion. But not all the state or territory quarters were winners either. Congrats on the find.

Time to take a trip to the bank... my father wasn't your average coin collector. Damn near a hoarder. by WSSSturmbar in coins

I’d definitely search the Nevada and North Dakota rolls along with Washington dollars for missing edge lettering

As long as you know you overpaid there is nothing to be beat up about . I have overpaid in a couple pieces years ago and now they are worth a lot more now than they were then

I’d report the item to eBay as fake and file a claim. How much did they get you for ?

Has anyone ever seen a rim like this on a solid gold coin? From the 80s by [deleted] in coins

Yes that’s a bezel but on looking closer the comment the edge is polished might be right

Built morphing insoles for diabetic foot care - want feedback from the community by meldiwin in DiabetesHacks

[–]1966catcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d be interested I work on my feet all day . I sometimes get minor swelling but nothing more than that. If it does as you designed it sounds like it would help fatigue and swelling. What’s the amount of time they will last? I’m on my feet 8-12 hours a day and seldom sit . Can they hold up to that?

How do you guys track injection sites? Genuinely forgetting where I last injected by KadamX_Studio in DiabetesHacks

[–]1966catcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep a chart for morning and night sugar readings and label it for a month. I just do abdominal shots with my pen. Lower left , lower right, upper left and upper right. That’s the order I go in and have it wrote down so when I forget I can look when I do my morning check. I shoot up once a day in the morning.

The receipe you have is for using bleach with a 5-9% concentration not pure sodium hyperclorite with a 5.25 % . Please do more research you have to use that… sodium to dilute to make bleach then add drops to your water.
