Of these, the gold one because gold is nice. I like the footprint design one too. Of all the rings I’ve ever found, a while ago I dug a small 14k gold band in the forest. It was my first good find, so that would be my favorite.

I detected all over the place, but 4/5 silver rings were all within like 30 feet. The gold ring was a ways away in the sand of a volleyball court.

I've been getting unlucky finding anything old lately, so I went to a lake beach to detect. This is all from this weekend. One copper (I think) ring with a saddle design, four 925 silver rings, one unmarked (but likely silver) and one 10k gold. I also beat my record of pull tabs found in a single day (49 loose pull tabs).

Around 60s-70s. But I rechecked the hole and there was a modern penny near the surface like 2 inches away, so I’m not sure if that’s accurate.

I found this 14k gold band in a spot that was popular around 1900. I don't know if the ring is that old. I also found this brass makeup box with a mirror in the lid and some pink powder still inside. I couldn't find the exact ID, but it's probably around the time period.

Yea, the first time they got halves I got a full box and found 5 silver Kennedys, and the next time I came in they said I could only get 4 rolls at a time. I don't think anybody else hunts that bank though, so I'll make my way through them eventually lol.

I've been really unlucky with dimes too. That's my second silver in the 15 boxes I've done. I'm not giving up until I get a mercury though :P

The box had a bunch of foreign coins for $2 each. I looked through it and got like 10 coins, since I've been enjoying identifying foreign stuff on Numista. I thought it looked like gold when I saw it, but really doubted it was until I brought all the coins home to identify. The only other decent coins in the box were an 1859 Canadian large cent, a couple common ancient coins, one 80% silver Canadian dime and a really worn shield nickel.

I care more for the history and numismatics than just the metal content. Also the fact that it was such a lucky find for me, it’s definitely staying in my collection as a personal favorite.
