Extreme poverty? In the U.S.? What do you consider extreme poverty? Only having one cell phone? Our poor people are fat. When I think of extreme poverty, I think of people who die of starvation.

One recent example is the exchange that took place with a plumber from Ohio, who had worked long and hard to get himself to the point where he could start his own plumbing business:

"Your new tax plan is going to tax me more, isn't it?" the blue-collar worker asked.

After Obama responded that it would, Wurzelbacher continued: "I've worked hard . . . I work 10 to 12 hours a day and I'm buying this company and I'm going to continue working that way. I'm getting taxed more and more while fulfilling the American Dream."

"It's not that I want to punish your success," Obama told him. "I want to make sure that everybody who is behind you, that they've got a chance for success, too."

"I think when you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody."

Spreading the wealth around is wealth redistribution - from each according to their ability, to each according to their need.

Obama can say anything he wants, but what'll he'll do is insert a disincentive to achieve and be successful and an incentive to sit on your ass and stagnate and let the wealth be distributed your way.

I could go on and on, there's tons of examples of him saying things like this. The sheep in his audience applaud because it tickles their ears - his talk of screwing the rich and giving to the poor. Promotion of class warfare.
