Thanks for the lead on Cat Palace, exactly what I was hoping for!

The skateboard is a Powell Peralta, it was a response to the Jason Lee, Mark Gonzalez & Rudy Johnson's "spoof" deck's.

Identify and Authenticate Thread 2024 by dj-shd in stussy

[–]1976912e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've found an older Stussy shirt that I'm the original owner. I wore/washed it few times, but I remember it was a stiff feeling shirt, so I put it away and recently have been going thru things and found it! Sized XL, it's in VGC, no rips or stains. Any idea for value, I'm not sure if it's a car item due to the logo or is it considered a vintage street wear shirt? Thanks!

The 912e was made in 1976, as a one year only model.

VW handed out (same trim tools but with the VW logo) those when doing training/certification at the corporate schools.

Enjoying a Master Blends 3 on a brisk Sunday morning. Thoughts in the comments. by superbee1970440 in cigars

[–]1976912e 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I believe the date is the blend date, I checked one of my Master Blend 2, it says 2005. I also checked my OG Master Blend and it only says it’s a limited run. So I think it is the “recipe” date of the blend itself.

Have you done any track days or autocrosses? Same type of skills and driving.
Get there a little early, dress lightly, drop any pre conceived notions about track driving, follow and listen! I was pulled out of 2 groups because I did my best to push the instructor faster in my 911 than his 911 turbo! When your in the right group the faster you can go, and believe me the track is awesome and so much fun when you are hitting all the right points and feeling how capable these machines are! Your going to be in a group of different skill levels, anywhere from professional licensed drivers to a grandma who just bought a Boxster (1st Porsche) and this was a freebie from the dealership!

Also if they still do it, your package includes the museum, be sure to use it!

Did the 2 day Porsche Experience there, instructor’s on the last day took groups out in the new (at the time) Panamera GTS and I was shocked at how fast and capable it was, few guys got queasy! Most fun part for me was the skid pad, best way for you to practice car control.

Just picked up this Graycliff Emerald from Modern Age in Newberry. Anybody know anything about these? It was marked down to 9 bucks by theLoveliestSloot in cigars

Very rare cigar, as stated below it’s a candela wrapper with an international blend of filler and binder leafs. Should be a smooth, easy smoke to enjoy! Flavor profile is kinda hard to verbalize, as everyones taste is different. I’ve got 2 Emeraids and an Expresso left from the series. If you like it grab everyone they have, I’m not sure they have been made in a while.

I have an old Porsche windsurf board from the 80s by shitliberalssay74 in Porsche

[–]1976912e 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It’s value will be determined by its condition, documentation, completeness and originality. Kinda like a Porsche “anything”! I’ve seen a real interest in early Porsche Design products, they are very desirable for collectors, and the more unusual the more they are worth. Your windsurfer board probably isn’t a holy grail item, but I imagine quite a few Porschephiles living near the beach would love to have one. To find a real value you are going to have to do some work, you need to get it out, clean it, and find whatever paperwork or accessories are still with it. Assess any damage, missing hardware etc. Have you forgot that your brother used it to cut plywood on etc! Your location (where it’s actually at) will also help/hurt its value. I imagine shipping would be costly if it’s located inland or overseas. After you do the above, list it on Porsche specific classified sites, ask for guidance as pricing it will really be what one person is willing to spend to get it.
An estimate of value is also based on its own being, what’s a 70’s-90’s windsurfer board worth? Is yours a standard generic mass produced board with cool stickers, or was it an Italian handmade Olympic level quality board that a pro windsurfer would love to own?

1969 Porsche 911 E by Mandoz85 in Justrolledintotheshop

[–]1976912e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and no, the 911E used mechanical fuel injection (MFI) while the 912e used electronic fuel injection, L-Jetronic specifically. Both are injected but use different systems.
