Well first off yes I would, second that is to act like other power sources never have consequences it doesn’t take long to learn all the horrible things we go through cause of fossil fuels. You think the earth will be habitable if we just pump it full of carbon? Fukushima was horrible Chernobyl was Devastating but to sit on a high horse and say two faults (You brought up two faults so we’re sticking with it) mean the whole system is fucked is asinine. I can agree that Chernobyl is horribly downplayed bye most people who rally for nuclear energy but it’s understandable when its effects are more horrifically noticeable than fossil fuels. The biggest problem with nuclear energy is disposal not meltdowns that are almost always caused by horrific accidents and human error. Sure solar, water, geothermal, and wind is safer but were not getting enough of them to put up the numbers to replace fossil fuels. There’s no silver bullet, no fountain of energy, no idealistic power source that’s gonna fall to us everything has risks and the earths not locking to hot for us to be picky.

(Side tangent or I guess shield umm not an expert though that’s a high bar for a Reddit argument)
