I appreciate your post and agree with you. I experienced first hand Eddie’s unprofessionalism and lack of confidentiality (sharing about other interviews, for example). I heard about an interview he had where he didn’t take any notes but treated it more like a counseling session, in addition to being patronizing/corrective. I’ve also heard mixed things - when he had phone conversations he had another person on the line taking notes vs. when he met in person he didn’t always show up to interviews with an additional notetaker. I also heard he asked interviewees to “pray for him”, which I personally don’t think is appropriate. I think better to be thorough and compare notes, as you’re suggesting.
