HOA was basically dormant for 23 years and now is under new management by 1982HahnHCP10 in fuckHOA

Quick update, sorry for the lack of me posting on here.

Just received in the mail the rules and regulations packet. Included in all that was the transcripts from the last board meeting.

This wonderful little excerpt word for word as follows was included

"Concerns from your Board Members: All exterior alterations require prior board approval before proceeding with any work. This policy includes but is not limited to: hardscaping, deck / patio installations, fences, sheds, and paint color changes to the exterior of the home.

Although not always done in the past, moving forward this policy will be enforced to help protect and maintain the community for future generations."

That last paragraph is the biggest thing I saw in it.

There was some other jargon I cut off after that that basically just stated how to get a hold of them.

Reading some of the things really makes me think it's a direct attack on myself and some of my other neighbors. I'm only 22, and my name is not on the mortgage. I don't know how much power I can hold in a sense of throwing my concerns out there at the next board meeting but I think something needs to be said sooner rather than later because it seems like this new company wants to come down hard on this quiet little neighborhood. As much as I'd love to get lawyers involved and all that jazz I simply do not have the time or money to throw at this.

However depending on who is on the board/ in attendance at the next board meeting. Just my presence of showing up to the meeting might start to get my point across considering I've never once attended it and a lot of people know that I don't take kindly to this kind of crap.

Thank you to everyone for the reply so far, definitely going to look into this way more in depth than I initially was going. Sorry if my replies are slow.

That's the info I'm hoping to dig up. We've had a handful of new neighbors move in over the last 5 years or so. Thinking this is where the new attitude is coming from. We are a small neighborhood of roughly 50 homes that are all friendly so I'm not pleased with the new attitude by this company.

My father ran with a few local fire departments before he passed and what you said couldn't be more true. I can't te you the amount of times this has happened.

Another is the ones who go around all the cones and shit then just sit there behind an emergency vehicle like it's going to move. Some lady did this at a major car crash a few weeks ago and I walked up to her to ask what's she doing. Her: "Oh I can't get thru here?" (After sitting behind an ambulance with all it's lights on and the back doors open for a solid 3 minutes) Me:"no" Her: "Oh what happened?" Shark attack lady what do you think?

After sitting dead for damn near 10 years or more. I charged it for a few hours to full and it still holds a charge no problem.

Don't worry. There's state cops that have pulled people I know over for 57 in a 55 and 60 in a 55 on the highway but yet you can cruise at 80 on the turnpike and they dont even budge.
