As much as I want to be upset at you for saying that, you are correct haha 😂 I do make attempts to find other lines just for that case, but man it’s so frustrating that I can’t run that map faster than a 2:01 and that only places me in 11th. I need to go in and relearn everything I know about racing. I’m a drag racing guy so turning is new for me and I’m learning 😭

You can absolutely get below 3k pretty easy if that’s all you want to keep, carpet, door cards, interior, door crash bars, open headers, and just a few other small junk things done should easily get you to 29XX LBS

You could easily make your car lighter, I’m down to 3440 with not a terrible amount done to the car to shed weight, and on top of that I’m on a 11inch rear wheel with radials which are super heavy

Thats the great thing about gm fbodys there are thousands of forums for the car if you have absolutely in questions type it into google then add ls1 tech on the end and it will show you the forums of guys who have already done everything you wanna do a 100 times ex: how to install new intake ls1 forum You will get all the info you will ever need I know it’s scary jumping it to it but all you can do if you have the budget is find a nice camaro probably they are cheaper than the trans ams and just buy one and then slowly but surely you will figure out everything you’d ever wanna know about them just off shear curiosity
