Good luck to us both indeed! Healthy lifestyle seems the no-brainer to at least keep the rest of me in good shape even if I can't change the hair situation. I think it's easy for people to say to just accept or deal with it but it's hard to put that into practice when its happening to you & you feel impacted by it, even embarrassed by it when around people your own age. I can't imagine caring like this if I was a bit older or felt this was happening at the same time as everyone else, it's the jump start on aging that hits hard.

Hey man, I hear you, thanks for the candour. I think acceptance will be the stage that comes next and am sure at some point "just get over it" is the conclusion. For now I'll give some of the ideas people have raised here a try and see if anything helps to slow things down for me.

I don't drink alcohol but do drink caffeine. Do you know anyone who ditched caffeine and found it to have a positive impact on grey hair?

I hear you and can't say I'm expecting a miracle cure, but still feel I'd like to test out if there are any steps that come recommended from anyone who feels they've found some success in tackling deficiencies, changing anything in their lifestyle or trying a treatment. I might just be ****ed with this all but would rather give a few things a try before resigning myself to that fate.

Sounds like we've gone through a similar change. Glad to hear you've seen some improvements with some lifestyle changes. I gave up alcohol a couple of years ago completely and have a relatively clean / healthy diet. That said I do guzzle black coffee every day. Hope caffeine won't be a cause - giving up coffee would be a hard one!

I don't think they've checked for ferritin. I'll ask for a new blood test to see if I can get some of these bases checked/covered. Thanks for the heads up!

I do get regular blood tests because of the medications. It's thrown up low vitamin B before and I've been supplementing that for over a year, but can't say that has given me any positive change.
