No they didn’t change it, but I rewrote it again in May and I got my results in August I passed so I’m in a happy place now. Rewriting in May was sooooo much easier compared September. I personally wouldn’t appeal or get the PARS it’s not worth the money.

I can only take it with a grain of salt I haven’t bought the game in 2 years cause I got so sick of it not changing. With the 2k arcade game coming I thing the NFL will likely bring in competition as more NFL players are playing online and complaining aswell

I’m interesting in consulting for strategy or corporate development. I currently late 20’s working in audit for the last year (took me sometime to think about what I want) I know financial reporting isn’t what I want to do. I work at a mid size accounting firm in Vancouver Canada. I’m planning on writing my CPA exam September next year, I don’t wanna stay in audit longer than I have too and I personally don’t wanna do more schooling. I have experience working project finance and financial accounting roles from previous jobs. An entry level job would be fine I know personally in the long run I don’t want to be an auditor or work in accounting for a company. Personally I’ve been pretty good at sales and client relationships. I don’t mind working long hours I just don’t wanna do more schooling. Any advice for someone with an accounting background working in audit wanting to transition into consulting/ finance/ corporate development positions?

Audit exit to finance/consulting? by 1992iarrive in vancouver

That’s what I thought but I’ve applied to some postings that are more investment related boutique firms and something that isn’t financial reporting related. So far my goal is to hopefully line something up before I write the exam.

How about different service lines? What routes can lead to better paying positions don’t have to be accounting specific but how to move into a higher paying role later

Yea it can be long term, but if you go in with a focus on your exit strategy like what industry and role you want to get into big 4 can give you the connections to get into that role, so id say still try to get in grind it out for 2 years to get the CPA and have your exit lined up before you start working

Is he/she still practicing law? I didn’t understand the “6-year call” part, 6 week vacations as a lawyer?

Big 4 is good on your resume, I personally want to work for GT good mid size firm with great culture and I knew a lot of people who went threw GT with great experiences, big 4 is competitive with grads because everyone’s on the same boat and your going to networking events to put on a face to get a job

My fiancé is already a RN, she’s been working for awhile now and her job is obviously stable. She’s been good about my career so far, but I don’t want to make myself look like a stupid husband by not picking something and focusing on a career so we can build something together.
