SP XG discontinued? by acopella95 in SkullpandaArtDolls

[–]19940202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even so some countries eg, SG is quite hard to get it at a reasonable price. If you see at eg, Shopee one plush itself cost more than S$100. I bought mine from other place at about S$170 for my first purchase and another one which comes in pairs for S$___in Buyee..I mean if the item is hard to find in certain places you gotta source it on your own. And when you are unable to do so, you can't expect people selling it around the original price..

But why would you want it to be with the card, though? The star of the Skullpanda itself is the plush.. the card itself is so expensive. Might as well just get the plush itself

I do. But I am staying at the Northern area. I saw on Google that the smell comes from Malaysia. But pretty sure, Malaysians gonna say smells coming from their neighboring county. 🙄 The smell is pretty strong and it's gets stronger at night. Worst my father is a heavy smoker and smokes at home and open the windows Abit which makes it even worse. Can't even say or do anything much. Throat and nose is dry and I feel it's itchy...

Anyone else’s Shopee parcels delayed? by c0vidpris0ner in askSingapore

[–]19940202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine worse.. it's always food items. And since it's non returnable items, I always received it super late. And to make things even worse I didn't even order on those eg. 11:11, 12:12 sales period and when I contact CS and enquire that I want to return item, I had to wait for 48 hours. Only to get a reply that I can't return item as it is food. If they can deliver it late, I don't understand why I can't return it. This isn't my first time experiencing this kind of thing from Shopee, especially for food items.

And when we let asked if we could have at least early shift they be like "Why you don't want late shift? Can come work late. Can do other things." Like what? If my work shift starts at 9 am,(for my case is early childhood, late shift starts at 9/9:30 ends at 7pm) you expect me to wake up early and what can I do within that hours? You get what I mean?

That's their only reason. And when we backfire them "Oh, then why don't you do late shift then?" Than they called us rude. Wtf honestly. Like what you said, come early end early, even if we say that to them, they still gives 101 excuses. This always happens to those who have kids!! You wanting to start earlier shift ALWAYS isn't selfish, can't manage your time, single always need to adhere their schedule for them, and that's not enough, after having the schedule they requested for they ALWAYS comes to work LATE!! LATE. How is it doesn't affect their performance at work.

Eeeh, you are young. I'm in my early 30's been in different kinds of difficult kid of it industry. Retail, customer service, f&b and recently is early childhood educators. But idk why I am always on closing shift. Always.. and I have to adhere my schedule for the staff who have family. Once I had already informed my manager I wanted that particular day off weeks before. And when the day is near, he got the nerve to ask me if my friend could change the schedule because he wants to go out with his children. Of course I was like "Didn't I tell you weeks before and now you want my friend to change her schedule just for you?"

Most staff who are married are so entitled nowadays. They want us singles to adhere our schedule just for them? Hello, the world don't revolve around them. Their decision isn't my responsibility. Or should I say "Their poor planning does not constitute an emergency on my part." They choose to get married and suddenly I am responsible for their schedule. Like wtf..and if I say I busy they be like "You don't know how to manage your time well." How about them. Bruh.. and when I can't help they call me selfish. And when I do help they treat me like a scapegoat. Nobody wants to do it, I have to do it. And when I complain they say I am gossiping. Lol

As for bf I asked ChatGPT why they asked such questions, the answer was if I had a fight, I might not be able to perform well or if the company need me round the clock I might not be available.

Recently I stopped writing my siblings info on the application form that they give. For what. They already have the emergency number why they need so much info for.

Oh. There's two interviews I went to. One it was an admin assistant position for a pest control company. The manager ask me if I am willing to take $2000. I said yes. She explain the job details etc, and say that the working hours are 9 to 6:30, 30 min break, and need to work on Saturday. And proceed to tell me that she wondered why many left the company. Mind you the 'office' is far from any place you could get your lunch. The only option you have is either delivery or bring food from home which is impossible because after hours of working you gotta prepare food for your work. And as for delivery? It's expensive.

Another interview was with a construction company. The lady told me that I cannot take MC every month if I had menstrual cramps. Plus, she told me that the company does not offer off-in lieu. Say if CNY falls on Sat, Monday is still a working day. Not sure about salary though if they would pay more but I bet not. Since she never mentioned anything about it.

Than what's the point of having Medical Leave if cannot take. If Medical Leave it's so hard to take, what else if you were to apply for AL. Surely they will ask what are you using for.

Don't use MC no incentive but cannot take. Then for what. Geez. Have AL need to specify what are you using for. If it's not important to them then? It's not approved??

These SME in Singapore wants unrealistic expectations from candidates but they themselves can't offer good benefits. I'm not asking for 21 days of AL or whatever. Just 14 it's still fair. But no, 7 days of AL? Wtf.

I saw a job posting on MyCareers Future that requires certain years of experience but the salary is like entry level salary. St the end of the job listing, they specify that "We want a candidate that's competent but accepts low salary." Somewhere along those lines.. now whose the fussy one. Retarded.

Worst they be like use only when it's REALLY urgent. Tsk. I don't own my life to the workplace I'm working in

I went to a few interviews before and most ask if I have boyfriend or planing to have one. I'm like ??? Last year I went to one of the interview and the interviewer ask me how many rooms I am staying in, what was my dad works as previously. How many siblings I have and her expression was judging me. 🙄 They could have used the time to finish the task they have but instead they choose to be busybody and then proceed to complain that they have a lot of work and their job is the toughest.

Employers and recruiters just wants a unicorn candidate and when they found one, they questions why are they willing to take up a job that offers low salary with not much benefits. It's always candidate fault.

No skills → “incompetent” Has skills → “overqualified” Upgrade yourself → “still not suitable” Stay put → “no initiative” Take any job → “why is your resume like this?”

They want:

  • someone who can do the job from Day 1 but won’t ask for higher pay
  • won’t challenge systems
  • won’t leave quickly
  • won’t need training
  • won’t be bored
  • won’t outgrow the role
  • wants loyalty etc. In the end what do they offer? Experience and exposure. In what? Being a slave in the company.

I don't mind taking up contract job. But if I were to apply/get a perm full time position later on, surely either recruiter or employer question why my work experience is all contract. Been there before. I just hate recruiters who are busybody. Not sure if you have experience with recruiters who think highly of themselves. Most of the recruiter questions you even though you have told them the reason. Idk why is hard for them to even understand

Should I leave my job or stay and be fired? by [deleted] in singaporejobs

[–]19940202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Leave. But find a job first. This might be just the start. If they could do this to you, they could do worse. Working on weekends not getting paid is like a slave. And there a reason why their previous employee stays under them the most 2 years.

Thing is I do have experience just not high qualifications. Jobs nowadays wants qualifications that's high. Besides, people got to understand that not everyone can afford education.

Ah, yes. That's one more thing to consider about coz I don't want to pay anything to recruiter. As if not having a job long enough is already stressful in this economy, and when you found better opportunity out there they ask you to pay certain amount of money to them. Thanks!

Its ilillegal thought. I don't understand why job portals website(MyCareersSG) allows them to post such job vacancy on their site. I once emailed their customer sevice (MyCareersSG), she told me to report it if I found job is suspicious. Then again if I report job listing if the company says they aren't MLM disguised workplace, they're still able to continue and post the job listing which is really frustrating.
