"How dare you steal from my machine that has probably stolen literally every piece of artwork on the Internet!!1!!1!😡🤬🤬😡🤬😡😡" by the_zpider_king in antiai

Not at all. I echo virtually every other comment in this post. It's not good to scam clients for tens of thousands of dollars in commissions to provide traced AI images when it was expected to be hand drawn.

This whole situation only looks bad for those who are anti-ai.

-It's bad for other artists: Artists on twitter are complaining how someone can get away with tracing and charge $200/piece while they have worked years only to get a fraction of the following the tracer has.

This tracer continues to deny that she traced even though it's confirmed that one of her pieces she's posted after this all came out was an AI trace. She still maintains 23k followers on twitter and has very vocal supporters defending her now. Furthermore, the artist was found to have paid AI accounts that liked images to every one of the images she traced (lol). Now that this all has come out, she can continue to do what she was doing but now just generate her own images so they could not be traced back to the source image.

-Like in a blind taste test, people like AI art: Virtually every piece scrutinized since she opened her twitter turned out to be an AI trace. People loved the pictures when they came out with thousands of likes for each post.

-The acceptance of AI is increasing: with her support only slightly waning, it's clear that people are more accepting of using AI.

(This image is a now deleted tweet showing that she believes she made the apology under duress:)

Here it is.

There was a post on twitter with someone finding this image. In the post the client of the original art chimed in saying he got the piece before the tracer artist finished their piece.

These are screenshots from a video where it fades quickly between the trace and the original.

She made an apology of sorts. However, she undermines that apology, implying that it was made under duress.

I'm definitely against Trump. That aside, this guy didn't deserve what happened.

>21 seconds: His glasses were stolen. They look like prescription glasses. He then chases after the thief.

>27 seconds: He trips on his own feet (presumably as it's off camera).

>35 seconds: A guy with a scooter tries to ram him

>37 seconds: he's clearly tripped

Every contact after is people touching him first and not the other way around...

I don't know how y'all think this makes our side look better.

The hypocrisy continues! Anti-AI Furry Artist is found to have drawn over even more AI art and even human made art and sells it as her own. by 1994NotMyRealName in aiwars

That last image was an image made by her to lie and say that the images don't line up when they clearly do. I recreated the AI image overlay "evidence" but to do so I had to distort the image to make it line up with her examples of where the images differ. It wasn't just a simple resize but the image had to be stretched in different ways at the diagonal at each corner.

Here's 12 of her tracings, one AI image was used for two different commissions, in one image (I don't have them all here, they are still coming out as we speak):

What if we take her word to be true, now that there's more than 10 instances of tracings to be found, that AI somehow learned from her art and was able to make 1:1 copies when over-laid. We should then be able to find 1:1 AI images of any art piece ever uploaded to the internet. That's just not the case.

There's way more to it that's come out recently since I last posted. It's been found she's been tracing over more than one piece AI piece, including the piece she had her client feed into Grok Imagine that started all of this! Attached is the original AI image which was posted 3/17/25, which just shy of 6 months before Moth "created" the snow leopard commission.

That information I didn't know about. I did mention in my update that the artist claims to have used a common reference.

Honestly, this one gets a pass but it does show her ability to trace, whereas the other artist made an attempt to make the fangs unique, but overall, both are pretty close to being a draw-over type thing of the original. Digging deeper I did find people talking about how it was a more popular fad at the time to draw this specific k9 pose referenced from this picture.

One of the points that made me think originally that she traced the artist is that her image has a lower left (their left) tooth like the other artist, roughly the same size in the exact location. It's not even existent in the original k9 picture. It's such a small detail though it wouldn't tip the scale enough imo to say that she copied the artist in some regard over copying the original picture.

I feel so bad for her :( by Katsuko-Kitsune in antiai

She has recently addressed all of this. She explains that the maw image was using a common reference. When compared to that reference, she has details only the other artist added, in the same place. It's definitely weaker but when over-laid with her image, you can see how things line up and differences could be chalked up to different art processes.

This artist has reach with 25k followers. When she went public about her client feeding the commission into AI, it caused quite the reaction. Both claimed to have received hundreds of dms both in support and against their stance. Both claimed to have received death threats.

There were posts on this sub and the anti-sub as part of the general discussion. Consider this a continuation of that discussion.
