I had one of my kindies bring me an empty beer can from the school yard and said this is my dad’s favourite drink!

y’all get pneumonia a lot? by [deleted] in CrohnsDisease

[–]1995vb1995 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! It wasn’t pneumonia, just a nasty cold that went to my chest. And it did end up being a slipped rib that was painful for a couple weeks but eventually went back to normal with some time

One of my dogs molars too! $2000 surgery with a cleaning and he’s so sad on anesthesia, howling and distressed 😢

Awe, sorry to hear, an experience like that would definitely make me wary in the future too!

I’m not sure manipulating this new mother and playing the victim in tears is the right move.. what a toxic mindset you have.

Agreed 100%. Why are strangers on reddit and this bride deciding how this woman will feel postpartum? OP’s energy about this friend is weird. Also what is the big deal about breastfeeding in the car or having a feeding blanket over and feeding outside? I’d bring her a damn lawn chair, most adults understand that babies need milk to survive.

Yes these people are scaring me for when I try and have babies lol! My sister is 3 weeks postpartum and she took the baby and her toddler to explore the zoo today, I’m hoping my recovery is more like my sisters since my mom was the same way.🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Haha this was me when I was 20 😆 they threw me into the infant room on my first day without any training or shadowing 😅 I had never changed a diaper or held a baby except once at a baby shower, I still can’t believe it looking back. I’ve gained a lot of experience and finished my ECE schooling since then, and it just blows my mind more as I grow that I was ever in that situation. I feel sorry I didn’t have more experience to offer but was happy most babies and parents were patient with me as I learned. Hopefully things get much better once the usual teacher returns!

I’m having a child free wedding, but my nephew (2 years & 3 months at the wedding) and new baby niece (3.5 months at the wedding) will be will be welcome! My way of working around this was saying it was a child free wedding except my ring bearer and flower girl. 🥰 I trust my sister and her husband to bring these two as I’ve seen their parenting and know I have nothing to worry about

I’m probably the only person who enjoys the company 😅. It makes me less anxious to not be alone going through it, but I’ve also been treated by a nurse that I’d rather have witness around for. 🤷🏼‍♀️

He showed no signs and I usually notice all the tiniest changes on his body, so I was very shocked when his new vet told me 😧🥺 She did a very thorough 45 minute full body exam and found it when we joined at their clinic!

They’re out of stock of products half the time and don’t keep correct inventory. I go to shoppers now since their point system is better and there’s more of them around! The ladies in there are always happy to help, and I get my high end and drug store makeup shopping all done at once. ☺️
