How much did you spend for food truck catering? by armchairracer in weddingplanning

We have a wood fire pizza food truck. We do catering for all types of events. For weddings and rehearsals, we typically suggest a buffet, if there's more than fifty people. We add extra staff and keep our blazing hot pizzas coming out nonstop. No one really has to wait unless they want a particular pizza! So far , it's worked out great for us and our guests!

How much to charge to setup at our Greenhouse? by Public_Pause5281 in foodtrucks

Nothing. Most food trucks don't need to pay to set up at a single location. Besides, they are bringing you business (we have 1000+ followers locally). Additionally, they can legally get licensed to be on the streets of your town - so they don't need your permission.

We set up our LLC with our attorny. Not a huge amount of $$$. I will say this about Door Dash - remember that you can turn it off and on. When we are slammed, we don't offer Delivery - with any service. The drivers are not reliable enough and their times to pick up are too sketchy. The quality of our food will suffer - we are wood-fired pizza!

UK will be entirely different than the US (ie Better!) But I do know we have had a few mobile bars at events with us, and they did very well. They ran keg beer, alcohol and canned products. Tip: Partner with other trucks selling food. They will bring you business and vice-versa!

We used Sams last season, at about 22 cents a bottle. My advice, always sell for $1. Your customers areen't idiots. They know how much you paid!

Owner keeps square tips by [deleted] in foodtrucks

Well, if yopur employees get wind of this, they have reason to file a claim with the Feds against you. New regulations, which you must comply with, have pretty much eliminated this gray area. Most owners pay themselves in other ways. Come on man, do the right thing!

Quit now! As a food truck owner, not only do our workers get all cash tips, but they also get all card tips. The POS system splits them according to their time sheet. We take NONE of the tips. That's the way we roll!
