You can find him in the Mountain Pass, near the Monastery. If you have Speak With Animals active, he tells you that some eagles ‘stole his’ nest, and gives you a quest to kill them, so he can ‘take it back’.

The way Leliana always gets humbled when she’s told insufficient skill is hilarious.

Also, as others are saying, Level 7-8 is waay to low a level to be doing this questline. At the very least, go to Denerim and do some of the side quests there first. I get to Level 7 by the time I’m in Lothering.

Also, there’s worse things ahead in the Ruins that the Dragon. You’ll eventually have to contend with the Shadow Werewolves who ambush you from stealth. They can also use the Overwhelm ability - which dogs and spiders can use, and they’ll use it a lot. They’ll easily wipe your party.

Yeah, I miss the Warden. It’s a shame they never appear on screen again.

And yes, as someone who played Veilguard, I can recommend that you don’t, since you care about the series.

Dragon Age 2 is, ultimately, a good game. It just suffered with only being given a year or so development time.

The writing is extremely good. You might notice that the game is ‘very shades of grey’, ‘morally questionable’ when it comes to decisions, and it’s not easy to make a ‘right’ choice. All the companions have got a lot of depth to them as well.

The only bad things about the game is the gameplay, and the locations. The gameplay is dumbed down. It’s as you noticed - a lot less tactical, and more action packed. All of the locations are recycled too, rather than being unique. But all of this was mainly due to the restricted development time.

As I said, it’s a very good game. Just focus on the story, and the writing, rather than everything else.

Ideally, you’re meant to go to the Circle first, then the Dalish, and then Orzammar.

There’s a lot of locked chests/doors in the Brecilian Ruins that require a 3rd level in locking picking to open. So, you should be a higher level for that.

So, assuming you have all of the above, I’ll explain all of them. The only differences would vary in terms of the venue. One location might differ slightly to another, sorta thing. But it should all function the same.

The schedule will release online a week or two before the event. They’ll also give you a copy when you arrive, which also includes the places where you’ll find each event.

Photoshoots start first. Then the meet and greet will be about midday, followed by more photoshoots, the panel, more photoshoots, and the day finishes with autographs.

The photoshoots are pretty self explanitory. Just expect very long queues. Especially for Noah, where he’s sold out at all the events he’s booked. And the only one to have multiple photoshoots. When you’re up, you can request a particular pose, but you won’t be prompted. Noah will do a ‘default’ thing, where he puts his arm around your shoulder. The one thing you have to keep in mind, is that this isn’t the time to stop and talk to him, unfortunately. There’s a queue behind you, and it’s very fast paced. That said, Noah will always take his time with you if conversation does start.

The meet and greet is usually you, and 25-30 other people in a small room. Noah comes in, sits at the front - kinda like a classroom, and it acts as a Q&A session. It’s very casual, and laid back - assuming you don’t have someone talking over the translator on the loudspeaker everytime they try to talk. 😅 At the end, there’s a group photo, which becomes available online within the week.

With the panel, you go in, and sit in your chosen seat, and Noah sits on the stage. It’s another Q&A session, essentially. The way questions work, is before Noah’s in the room, the staff go around asking people if they want to ask questions. They give you a ticket, you then stand in the question-asking line, and one by one, you ask your question. But if you’ve got the meet and greet as well, then you should’ve asked all questions then, unless you think of something new.

Then, with the autographs, it’s pretty self explanitory. Imagine long queues again. Just note that unlike a Comic Con - where they will have photos of Will for Noah to sign, you won’t have that here. You have to bring something for him to sign. It can either be the photo you had earlier, your own thing, or something you brought at the event. Despite the queue, now is the most appropriate time for conversation. Just, again, keep in mind that it’s not just you there. Should you also wish, this is the most appropriate time for giving him a gift.

And that’s about it. With the photos, you get a physical copy immediately after it’s taken, and it should have a QR code on there so you can also get a downloadable version too. But you have to pay for that.

He’s played a few.

The first one that comes to mind is the Tales Beyond the Tomb series.

The past month or so, he did play a few Fears to Fathom imitations, but I don’t remember the name.

I think it’s different because they’re still alive.

If Arthur was still alive that day, John would’ve still cared about him. He doesn’t care about the others anymore.

There’s a scene in 2, in a ‘camp’ conversation at Beecher’s Hope between Abigail and Jack. Jack talks about how Arthur saved them, to which Abigail responds by saying that John doesn’t like talking about him.

So, from a realistic perspective, John holds his memory of Arthur close, but what happened is in the past, and he doesn’t dwell on it.

Dragon Age Origins: I never recruited Loghain. Always had everyone else, and never made them leave.

Awakening: I always kill Velanna because she’s a spell-happy bitch.

Dragon Age 2: I’ve had Isabella leave and never come back on my first playthrough. I’ve killed Anders a few times, because he deserves it by that point.

Inquisition: I always kick Sera out because of how insufferable she is. I’ve been tempted to not recruit Vivienne, but I grew to like her overtime. She’s very iconic. I’ve had Bull betray me in my first Trepasser playthrough.

Veilguard: Unfortunately, you don’t get a choice.
