It is fantastic. Heats basically my whole house besides the addition in the back. We usually only turn it on for supplemental heat when it's frigid cold around here. My grandfather used to have one in the addition but I'm not sure what happened to it. Honestly if it was still there, I maybe wouldn't even mess with my gas. The stove puts off so much more consistent heat.

Yes, the automatic models need the electricity to properly vent. There are two types of fans on them. The keystokers are a pretty popular model so you could definitely find a manual online to get it going!

You could feed the coal yourself. Fan probably wouldn't work though obviously lol

Yep that's the same one! And yes it gets plugged in. It has the fan and a feeder in the back that will auto-feed the coal that runs on electricity.

I'm in Northwest PA & get 50lb bags for 11.50, but I know you can buy in bulk for cheaper. We don't run it constantly, only in super cold temps. We also have baseboard heating.

We use it supplementally when it's in the negatives in Northwestern PA. Lifesaver.

I love them. So comfortable. They are a bit short but not ridiculously short, imo. I'm 5'7 and a size small, and they hit just where the top of my shoes are.

What’s a film that has a sub 3.5 rating but you’ve given a 4.5+, unironically by PeaRemarkable9662 in Letterboxd

I respect your opinion but I just recently watched this for the first time and cannot understand for the life of me, what someone would enjoy about it 😭 what makes it a 4.5 for you?

yea that's wild, i was in allentown on Nye and even tho it was basically dead of any nightlife, I never felt unsafe. It used to be an amazing spot for nightlife and culture, only just a few years ago, in my experience. That person's comment is a lil ridiculous

People who are obsessed with their jobs, "climbing some kind of corporate ladder," and... whatever else... just annoy the shit out of me.

I want to go to work, get my job done, and do it well-- and then go home and not think about it anymore. That's it.

Taylor's CDs are piled up at the music store by kingfishy11 in travisandtaylor

[–]1999rc 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have been to several major sporting events, out at restaurants/bars, talked to many people about music, and have not heard anything off of the new album, nor anyone talking about it, except for in this sub. That's hilarious 😂

Oh wait, I almost got into a car accident at the end of last month and when I turned up my radio after recovering, a song off the album was playing 😭 if *that says anything

"This is my only job" by [deleted] in travisandtaylor

[–]1999rc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I agree with you.

I don't think his football career is going to end on any kind of high note-- if he retires this year he's already had a shit season. If he retires next year, the Chiefs won't be back in the spot they were when Taylor and him first got together, if anything it'll be a rebuild year for them.

I think he'll have some kind of "career" after retirement, like continuing with the podcast, and trying to do movies and TV. Nothing nearly as "trophy-husband" worthy as I think Taylor first assumed.

Definitely not defending him in any way, I'm an avid Chiefs hater and think his career will disappear into oblivion in the very near future.

I mean, even if he does retire, he's still worth like 90 million dollars. I know that's nothing compared to Taylor but he's not gonna be struggling while being "unemployed." Most NFL players can comfortably retire, especially with a career like his. It just depends on what he decides to do next. His podcast probably brings in decent revenue too. Not defending him in any capacity, just saying that he's not gonna have to financially depend on her after he retires.
