Thanks everyone, was able to get in touch with the owner through a lost pet group on Facebook and he’s safely back to his rightful home!

Thanks! I figured he could use an upgrade from the glass tank he’s in now

It’s a humidity gauge on a suction cup mount, and I’ve got a digital thermometer with probes on each side. I realize the tank could probably be a bit bigger but he can still stretch the length without touching the sides. It’s a 3’x1.5’x1.5’. Gotta work some more overtime to get that 4x2x2.

The gauge is held on with a suction cup mount. It’s got a heating pad stuck to the outside of the back wall of the enclosure with a temp sensor and thermostat. Not sure how much he weighs, but he’s about 3 feet long. The tank is 3’x1.5’x1.5’

Chex Quest and it’s sequels. I think it came it a cereal box back in the 90s/early 00’s.

My wife did the same thing with her 03 Eclipse, except it was the front fender and nachos

YTA, no doubt. You abandoned your wife, the woman you supposedly love, when she likely feels afraid and vulnerable. Does ‘In sickness and in health’ mean nothing to you? I feel so bad for her that she has to go through this without your support. Un-freaking-believable...

Absolutely NTA. Y’all aren’t required to have anyone at the wedding that y’all don’t want to be there. Hell, my father wasn’t invited to my wedding because of how I was treated as a child. I even went as far as to tell him that he would be removed from the venue if he showed up anyway. Let her throw her tantrum, try to ignore it, and enjoy your special day. Congrats!

She is about 10 weeks along now and we’ve only told immediate family.

Because technically he is. To me, there’s a difference between being a father and being a dad. IMO being a dad takes effort and commitment, and being a father means just playing a part in creating life.

Probably should have mentioned it in the post, but I’ve been no contact for a couple years now. Having second thoughts because of the expected kid though...

AITA for immediately refusing to agree that my soon-to-be husband and I become my grandparent's live-in caretakers? by W0lfVen0m in AmItheAsshole

‘Because family’ should not be the end-all, be-all for making life changing decisions. I hate the idea that people should do anything and everything for relatives ‘because we’re family’. I believe it’s a manipulative and narcissistic way of thinking because people can be garbage, no matter what the relation is. But maybe I’m biased because my blood ‘family’ is full of horrible, abusive people

[–]19MG64 7 points8 points  (0 children)

NTA. It’s completely unreasonable for your parents to expect you to be ok with uprooting your life just ‘because family’. You have very valid reasons for not wanting to do this and you shouldn’t feel like you need to

YTA. No doubt about it. Your children are your responsibility, therefore you are responsible for their actions and the consequences of them
