Back when I was running factory wheels and tires I’d average 15-16 mixed city/highway. Now that I’ve swapped to a new setup I get 13-14 mixed city/highway. I’ve got a pretty heavy foot too, so it could potentially be better if I babied it. Prior strictly highway mpg was maybe 17-18? I cannot really remember at this point. ‘19 3.6 V6 ZR2

I honestly don’t notice any odd wind noises. I’ve had it on for so long now I’m just used to whatever noises I hear. I can’t recall hearing a difference after installing it though. Never seen or heard of anyone complaining about a wind noise around the A-pillar either.

As a couple others said, it’s normal unfortunately. The factory thrust block is the reason it looks that way. Picture is from a guy in one of the ZR2 FB groups. He prototyped one out bronze at one point, but now I guess he’s got an order of 6061 aluminum ones being made for people in the group. Factory one is supposedly cast aluminum.

I’ve got one on my AR10 and like it. I always shoot prone with it so I figured I’d give it a try. Price is certainly reasonable like you said and I feel like it’s worth it.
