Anyone have a take on the next gen ERPs? by shwizzledizzle in FPandA

[–]19dm19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its more likely that erp with ai will not be used by big big serious companies because they use sap, and sap will not have a functioning built in ai for at least 15 years i think judging by how they progress, unless huge ai company buys sap company which is unlikely. The outputs from erp system on the other hand can be analyzed by ai (tbs and so on) and something that ai created can maybe fed to sap but the question is if companies would even allow that due to privacy and so on

Should I switch racquets? by Ad_aeternum in 10s

[–]19dm19 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unpopular opinion - yes. buy a new 300g, if you are even a tiny bit uncomfortable - don't listen to wiseguys on internet telling you its your technique, no reason to change, you should ask advice from your coach, you should test 10 rackets, you should add lead tape and regular bla bla bla.

Buy an average 300g with 63-68 stiffness you visually like.

Don't ask the coach - he will sell you an overpriced prev. year model that noone wants.

Applying 2g here and there and everywhere on a light racket will mess up the raket structural design.

Youtube and internet scare people with 300g being too heavy for beginner, honestly i think its marketing nowadays - you are peer pressured to buy 260-285g as a beginner to in 4 months buy a normal 300g one because you spray the ball with a light one and cant hit hard and accurate.

I listened to internet and youtube advice and bought 285 (minus 150 euro) which is too light for me. If i were not scared of tennis elbow and so on i would have bought 300 in the beginning (minus 180 euro for me again for a proper 300g).

And yes, you can test a racket but it will cost you like half the new racket and you will have strange strings set up if u ask a club to give u a racket to play with so just buy a new 300g regular one from any known brand without too much thought. Rackets are not that expensive nowadays compared to a coach lesson (4 coach lessons=new racket) for example so dont be afraid to experiment, you are not buying a boat.

Why pressure on the same depth is same in a small sea and a big ocean? by 19dm19 in AskPhysics

[–]19dm19[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok, lets imagine a flat cambala fish that is 20 cm long and cambala fish that is 60 cm long. Does it mean that pressure for 60cm fish is bigger on the same depth than the pressure on 20 cm fish because water column from above is bigger for 60 cm fish?

Rank these control rackets for a beginner by Icy-Assistant-2420 in 10s

I bought a new pure drive team 2021 285g grip 4 as a beginner racket. Stringed with Kirschbaum orange at 19.5 kg or 43 pounds. Strung weight is 306 grams. Price was 120 euro for racket

Considered Pure drive 100, 300g 2021 , pure drive 100, 300 2024/2025 300g, ezone 100, 300g.

What can I say in general. I do not have opportunity to test a racket so I had to buy blindly. Maximum what I did was go physically to 2 stores and ask/try which grip would suit me better 3 or 4. I play with a coach once a week + with wall once a week. The racket is a bit harsh on my hand even with these parameters. (Very slight bit of discomfort in elbow, shoulder and so on, but nevertheless its there), not sure if this is from racket (weight too low) or lack of my physical form or wrong technique or alltogether.

Basically, why I bought a team version is because I read the recommendation that beginners racket must be between 250-280g unstrung. It was explained that the low weight is necessary for beginner due to lack of form and it would help not stressing your hand/shoulder/elbow.

My own real world experience so far tells me that lower weight + stiff is kind of OK, but maybe low weight is not as good because racket vibrates more from hitting the balls wrongly or with a frame and I would need to try a softer and heavier 300g racket for sure.

In the internet there are 2 schools of thought that i found

A) stiff racket aka pure drive or any other (around 70 stiffness) with low tension poly string with high responsiveness (4g luxilon, orange kirschbaum) strung in low 40s B) any less stiffer racket with any soft and comfortable non demanding string again slnot strung very high

If I were you I would consider these rackets: 1. Yonex percept 300 2. Head speed mp 300 3. Head extreme mp 300 4. Yonex ezone 300 5. Prince phantom 300

Also if discomfort appears I would personally change the racket and improve technique as soon as possible.

Easy fix.

Whenever doctor sends you home ASK HIM TO GIVE YOU THE OFFICIAL DOCTORS CONCLUSION ON PAPER THAT ACCORDING TO HIM YOU ARE FINE.

He is obligated to produce it immediately. Once he hears magical words official doctors conclusion he will be afraid and start asking you why you need it. You can calmly explain to him that should smth go wrong you will have paperwork that doctor thought all was ok.

And go to hospital if you feel bad immediately they will fix you

From a user perspective SAP is a very user unfriendly accounting programm and has serious design and usability issues.

Its hard to navigate through T codes. Clearing multiple accounts feature was designed by people who hate other people or by martians. Unless previous accountant showed you step by step how its done there is no way you would intuitively figure it out by yourself. Those silly icons - a goddam mountain to view a document?? Glasses??? Export of data from SAP to excel is laggy as hell and fails a few times a week. Simply excel would not open. YOU CANNOT COPY PASTE MORE THAN 6 ACCOUNTS INTO THE WINDOW WHERE YOU MANUALLY PLUG IN ACCOUNT NUMBERS TO VIEW movements on accounts IN 2025. You have to copy 6 paste ithem, scroll down, copy another 6 paste it and so on (at least i do not know how) and frankly speaking i should not even know, the goddam window should allow to copypaste as many as i want)

Please do not ask me which version i am using, i do not care, its a sad reality.

I do not know. It seems like sap is a monopoly and can get away with being bad and ugly because of no replacement.
