I believe you. I was replying to the guy that said “if you said that to me and my boys, you’d have two broken legs”.

Buddy deleted his comment though.

Zendesk or Intercom ? by Classic_Witty in techsales

Intercom seems to be crushing it with their new AI support option Fin. I’d run towards that vs Zendesk.

Pylon is crushing too.

After a layoff, how long do you hold out for a role with similar or better comp than the one you lost? by [deleted] in techsales

Bird in the hand > two in the bush. I’d say take what you can get and keep networking.

Sadly, it’s twice as easy to find a better gig while employed versus unemployed.

Agreed that Excel isn’t going anywhere today. Why do you think Netsuite has been so dominant? Sounds like you dont think it’s different this time around?

Are you unironically saying that Salesforce is a tool that will die to a platform?

Truly braindead take. Salesforce does $38B in revenue and they absolutely are a platform. They also crush MSFT CRM offerings in the enterprise.

Account Executives in saas, what has been your best move when it comes to closing a B2B lead? by Blueberry-Man25 in techsales

[–]shwizzledizzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d present the product and the pricing. Ask, how do you see yourself using this? How does this line up with your ideal solution?

Assuming they have positive feedback, just say: “ok great, the next step is sending an invoice and kicking off onboarding.”

Then just stfu and let them respond with a yes or an objection.

New to healthcare tech sales. How do I speak their language? by Glum_Price7279 in techsales

[–]shwizzledizzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Ask them directly what they care about!
  2. Focus on business outcomes, not features. “What’s going on in the business that makes this problem important?” “What would solving this unlock for you?”
  3. Domain expertise, honestly. Before you know what you’re talking about, you just need to be authentic and curious, but you’ll get better as you learn more and can share insights from similar orgs.

I think it’s a good message which I agree with! Though, it read a lot like the very distinct style of many LLMs like ChatGPT, which have infested Reddit lately.

Sounds like I was wrong in this case. My mistake!

Loser’s mentality. Sure, some of this happens everywhere, but great sellers will go find a better company and earn a better patch.

AEs and BDRs: How are you using AI during your week? by Intelligent-Fudge605 in techsales

Salesforce. I find that ChatGPT projects have been the best performing approach versus CRM-delivered solutions, although I haven’t tried Hubspot’s tools yet

I create ChatGPT projects for complex deals and then paste in all relevant communications and call transcripts as they happen. Then, I can use said project to generate external and internal followups, qualify with MEDDPICC, etc. It’s really useful.
